Loved it
I did this trip on my first night in Beijing with my study tour cohort. It was not only a lot of fun with surprises around every corner, but it gave me a unique perspective of Beijing and our guide Fiona gave us a load of insights. It is a great way to get a sense of the city. Fiona was super engaging and energetic. It was awesome and one of my highlights while in China.

Average tour, poor value for money
I did this tour with some friends. The whole experience was very average. The guide gave lots of facts and stories, but it wasn’t particularly engaging. He also spoke quite quietly, making him difficult to hear. I’m used to cycling in cities and am normally very confident, but going through some gigantic junctions in the dark with only very basic lights wasn’t a good experience, especially as the guide didn’t seem to be too worried.

We stopped in a very cool area for a half hour break - I was happy to see the area, but would much rather have come back another time rather than have 30 minutes break in a 3-hour tour. Total cycling time was just over an hour according to Strava, and 11km covered.

I’ve done similar tours in other cities for half the price of this or less and enjoyed them much more. I’m afraid I couldn’t recommend this.

Had a great night out.

Our bike tour at night was great. Our guide Fiona was very good. She explained the history of everything we visited. Visiting the sites at night time was excellent, seeing it all lit up was awesome. We saw lots of sites and didn't feel unsafe at all. I was pleasantly surprised that we navigated so easily through the traffic. A must do on your visit to Beijing.

Fiona, our guide, was fabulous. Excellent knowledge and perfect English. She has been doing it for 8 years, but is still very enthusiastic and very accommodating. Best way to experience Beijing :)

A must do!....if you have the time!
We did this tour on a free evening during our China - trip.
The Bikes were brand-new, of very good quality and immediately adjusted to the correct size by the very friendly, helpful and perfect english speaking staff.
The tour itself was a wonderful experience, beating the traffic visiting the old town, and entertainment district.
Our guide was always taking very good care of our little group and we can recommend this tour 100%!

Great tour to see the city at a glance
I decided to do a bike tour first thing to better learn the city and better navigate for the rest of the trip. It was the best thing as I got a good sense of where things were in the city and could ask the guide numerous questions about how things worked in Beijing. Harry was very helpful and gave me some insight what it was like to be a local and even provided some invaluable tips during my stay. I believe the say tour would be better as the tour I selected was on a cold day and there were certain points of interests that didn't have lights. You can also see more in the daytime and it's better for pictures. To combat the cold Harry provided gloves while he were nice to have. We also recieved a bottle of water making it easier to stay hydrated during the tour. After the tour, Harry introduced me to a nearby restaurant which made fresh long noodles which tasted great at a locals price. Overall a great tour and a great tour guide.
