First we were picked up by Ayman, our driver for the day, he was a phenomenal driver. He was always ready to pick us up amongst all our stops and kept the car nice and cool during the day.
Gamal was our tour guide and he was full of incredible knowledge and had a great sense of humor through out the whole day. We started in Memphis and made our way to Saqqara and he did a fantastic job of explaining the importance and history of everything we saw. He even drew some great diagrams in the sand to help us see the way building pyramids evolved over time. He gave us plenty of time to explore on our own as well. And he has a knack for taking great photos and videos.
We took a break from outdoor activities midday to visit a papyrus museum and got to see a demonstration on how papyrus was made. They clearly wanted us to purchase a souvenir but there was no pressure. We simply watched the demonstration and then left. From there we went to lunch. We enjoyed a traditional Egyptian meal which was included in our tour price (except drinks).
After the midday break we headed to Giza to see the Great Pyramids. You definitely need that entire afternoon to explore these incredible structures. Gamal really made the whole experience so enjoyable with his explanations and great ideas and poses for photos. After walking around the base of the pyramids we drove to the camels and Gamal found us Camels to ride. He explained that we were lucky to come during the off season because we didn’t have to wait for a camel. We rode Camels and the handlers took our pictures for us. It was a really neat experience riding in the desert with pyramids in the distance.
We loved doing a private tour that allowed us to move at our own pace, were able to ask all our questions and get to know our guide. His love for ancient Egypt paired with willingness to serve others was truly appreciated. He made the experience memorable and we would highly recommend this tour to any friends or family.

We booked the private all-inclusive tour to the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Memphis and Saqqara topped off with a camel ride. I am confident that we got THE BEST tour guide and driver out there!! Our tour guide was Wael Abdallah and our driver was Hassan. Hassan knew how to navigate through the crazy Cairo traffic and even got us in the VIP entrances of some of the more crowded attractions which saved us time to do more throughout the day! Wael was so knowledgeable and passionate about the Egyptian history, it almost made me just as excited (it's hard to match his level of passion). He structured out tour in chronological order so that we could experience the sights as he shared the historical background and stories. We told Wael what our main goals were for the day (including what we were most excited about seeing, as well as the things we could skip or spend limited time in -- and he tailored our itinerary and delivered well above our expectations! Egypt is by far one of my most memorable trips and Wael was a big part of that. Request him by name if you can!

Ni. The guide and driver were friendly and helpful. The guide gave us a lot of general information about Egypt and explained step by step what we would see. He even took us to a hotel overlooking the pyramids for lunch.
The downside is that he wanted to avoid taking us to the museum, for which tickets were included in the purchase. When we told him he seemed a bit annoyed and tried to convince us not to go, we stuck to our request and eventually went back to go to the museum (as per itinerary). They took us to "tourists trap shops" where they waited for you to buy something and are very insistent. Honestly they are in other countries, but if you don't get fooled you can avoid paying, as well as with tips. We left them to whoever we wanted, including the guide who cmq had done a great job.
In short, they try, it is their culture, but I felt it was right to mention it for those who do not travel much and are manipulated by these brazen requests.

We had a private tour today with our tour guide Gamal and our driver, Hassan. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and driven safely through the traffic madness! Thank you Hassan for being a great driver.
In my experience a tour guide can make or break your experience, and can turn a good experience into something great. Gamal made our experience amazing with his extensive knowledge of Egyptian history, hieroglyphics, geology, tombs, pyramids, and so much more. He presented Egyptian history in a digestible format as well as tying the highlights of each place in a well organized manner. You could tell the excitement and passion he possess in showing others the rich history of Egypt. Best of all, he was a great photographer/ director for your Instagram/tik tok reels! He knows the best spots for photos, maneuvered us away from the large crowds and kept us away from most of the street vendors.
We were taken to 3 “touristy” shopping stops (souvenir shop, Egyptian cotton clothing store, papyrus art shop) as part of the program but you can make your time here as quick or as long as you want. Remember to bargain if you want anything and don’t be shy to walk away if it’s not the price you have in mind. I found the papyrus store interesting because they showed the technique for forming papyrus.
If Gamal wasn’t so popular, he would be our tour guide throughout Egypt!! He is an expert in his field and it was truly a pleasure being educated by him. He kept our group continually engaged and excited for Egyptian culture and history.

Honestly considering the price I found the experience far below what I would have expected.
The whole experience was definitely not a day long, the only reason it lasted beyond lunch was the extra visits not mentioned in the outline to the 'Essential Oils' and 'Papyrus' Factories.
The Good:
When we were actually at the sites the guide provided some good descriptions and interesting information.
The sites themselves were amazing, definitely recommend paying extra to visit the inside of the pyramid at Saquara.
The driver was very prompt for pickup and always felt safe in the car.
The Bad:
Didn't spend anywhere near the '4 Hours' at the main Giza pyramids site.
As I said above it didn't last a full day.
Sometimes felt like I was being rushed to go faster through sites than expected.
The additional trips to the extra factories where you feel a bit pressured to buy stuff. I understand they're there to give the guides a break which is fine, but it was annoying to not be aware of them.
Possibly the fact I was doing it solo made it shorter then it normally is, but still considering the high cost I would say pick another one that is cheaper as you'll probably have a largely similar experience and save some money.

Absolutely fantastic experience!
Waiting for many years to see the pyramids, and we are so happy we booked with these guys.
Our tour guide was Ahmed Salah, who was brilliant throughout the whole day.
We learnt so much from Ahmed, about the history of all the monuments, he was also extremely helpful in every way possible.
So knowledgeable and friendly and we couldn't be happier with our experience.
He also made sure we weren't troubled by anyone or approached by any sellers. He was always on hand to ensure we had the best experience.

We booked a trip to the Great Pyramids.
Our tour guide ( Ahmed Elsayed) went above and beyond throughout the tour with his knowledge of history, myths and historical events.
We got to take brilliant pictures - even though both the Sphinx and the pyramid sites got busy when we arrived.
Ahmed took pictures of us every time, and I have to say he has excellent photography skills.
The itinerary was efficient, the food was delicious, and the staff was always kind and helpful during each activity.
Our driver, Hassan, knew every shortcut in this somewhat chaotic traffic all over the city.
I definitely recommend this tour for couples or a bunch of friends who are hungry for some history and ready to receive some warm Egyptian hospitality.

Our tour guide today, Martina, was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Her patience was particularly noteworthy, as she consistently offered to take photographs of us from various angles. Martina's fluency in three languages was also impressive. She recommended an excellent restaurant serving traditional Egyptian cuisine. Additionally, she guided us to a reputable shop for souvenirs, where we were able to find bargains. Our driver exhibited professionalism and courtesy, always opening and closing the door for us during stops. The service provided by both Martin and our driver far exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend their services.

I’ve waited decades to experience the pyramids, and this trip lived up to the moment! I’m sure the other guides are great but my guide, Mr. Gamal, was on another level. If you can, ask for him. Professional, learned, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egyptian history. He really brought the attractions to life and treated me like family. I had the honor of having a private tour so it was a small group, and I got to ask all my questions. We started our journey with a visit to see ancient relics in situ then onto the magnificent Sakkarah Stepped Pyramid. His depth of knowledge (studied with the famous Egyptologist Professor Zahi Hawass) and expertise were evident as he explained the intricate details and significance of the grounds and architecture, making the experience both educational and enthralling.
Next, we ventured to the iconic Giza Pyramids, where the sheer grandeur and scale left me in awe. Gamal’s storytelling and insightful commentary about the pyramids’ construction and the pharaohs who built them enriched my visit immensely. The highlight of the trip was seeing the Great Pyramid in person followed by an exhilarating camel ride, which offered breathtaking views of the pyramids and the obligatory social media photo op! Gamal and crew were attentive and accommodating, ensuring we captured perfect photographs to remember my adventure by. His friendly demeanor and enthusiasm truly made the experience special.
The entire day was seamlessly coordinated, and every detail was meticulously taken care of. Gamal’s ability to weave fascinating historical narratives with engaging activities made this trip a highlight of my visit to Egypt - I will never forget it, and neither will you!

Since this is labeled as “VIP all inclusive”, can we skip the camel ride and swap it for the entry into the Giza pyramid at no additional cost?

What model/kind of car they will pick & drop us to? Also, what is the restaurant for lunch?

I can't remember the make of the car hut it was a newish comfortable sedan with good air-conditioning. The restaurant was one of the better ones. Nice little taste testing of different food and then a main. The worst was in Luxor. Say mo to that one.

I can’t book because trip advisor does not accept my payment, we can book and pay in cash ???

You might be able to EFT cash for payment of the trip so definitely contact the travel company - that’s what we did. If you stay at a good hotel they will usually have an ATM if your guide will show you working ATMs. Enjoy!
