Cosmo. Jin Tour - Day Tours
    Stop: 7 hours -
Timeline of Two Koreas'  Most Tensed Moments  1950-1953 - Tragic Korean War & Armistice took place 1968-2016 - Military threats near the board line of Korean Peninsula - Propaganda - Sending spies to South - 4 secret tunnels dug & found Until 2017 - 6 Nuclear / 117 Missile Tests Undergone 2018.4.27 - Historic 2018 Inter-Korean Summit Tour Highlight On 27. April, 2018, the whole world had its eye on one very small, yet most iconic area on the Korean Peninsula, Demilitarized Zone, also known as DMZ. This zone has been known as the most untouched area in the world as no militaries nor civilians can enter from both South and North Korea since Korean War was in ceasefire treaty in 1953. However, now you can get close to DMZ area and have a chance to watch a part of North Korean villages from South side. As the two Koreas have been moving towards to peace and possibly reunified, DMZ may no longer be as iconic or historic as it is now. Join the tour now before it is too late. Tour Details This DMZ morning tour includes visits to major must-see spots in the DMZ with a fully licensed and long experienced DMZ tour guide and hear enlightening commentary on very real stories of North Korea while exploring highlights such as the Dorasan Station, the Dora Observatory, the Third Infiltration Tunnel, the DMZ Theater, the Unification Bridge, Imjingak Park, and others. Explore the emotional story of two Koreas' separation at Imjinhak Park and the Unification Bridge where you can enjoy the view of the DMZ and read about Korean War history. Move to Dorasan Station to see how two Koreas can be one again in the future, with this station opened and trains running. Visit Dora Observatory to have a glimpse of North Koreans' lives and villages. Walk to the Third Tunnel, which was designed to invade South Korea by tanks in secret and was disclosed by one of the North Korean defectors. At the end of the journey, have some tea and ginseng product tasting at Ginseng center and if you select the lunch option, try Bibimbap, a traditional Korean dish with rice and various ingredients, or North Korean style cold noodles, a traditional North Korean dish which was offered for both Korean leaders in the recent summit. You will head back to Seoul, near the City Hall, at around 2:00-3:00 PM depending on your selected option and the traffic. Enjoy other sights such as:  • The Unification Bridge • ID Check • DMZ theater and exhibition hall • Dora Observatory • Dorasan Station • Amethyst or Ginseng Center

This tour was a waste of time... from the start. Nothing stated on the website was done on the day. It is ridiculous and absurd that they think they can get away with this type of tour. I am someone who enjoy reading about history and the Korean war has always fascinated me. I

Response from CosmojinTeam, Guest Relations Manager at Half-Day DMZ - Demilitarized Zone-Infiltration Tunnel Tour
Responded 09 Dec 2019
Dear Guest Greeting from Cosmojin Travel Agency. Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied after the tour with Cosmojin and we would like to apologize sincerely. The DMZ is closed due to the African Swine Flu and the guide delivered the schedule in detail to customers in advance. Your guide did explain about the African swine flu and closing of the DMZ area as well as the alternative products but if you didn't understand well, your guide could explain once again and give you more details. In addition, to increase interest in the tour, a North Korean defector, who is not with other travel agencies, traveled with us to try to improve the content quality of the products to customers, we would also spend more time on that part. We will do our best to ensure that our customers are not disappointed with the tour through service training and detailed pre-information for all the parts mentioned above, and we will add contents about history and various information. If you explained your dissatisfaction to the guide, you would have dealt with it immediately (refund or responses) but we are sorry not to give our feedback on that day. Once again, we feel responsible for not being able to make the tour that you wanted in Korea. If you have another opportunity to come to Korea, and if the DMZ is reopened, we will give you a tour free of charge and we will make sure that you are 100% satisfied with it. There are also good reviews of this tour, so please refer to it. We will do our best and provide you the best service. Please be sure to contact us. Once more, we sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction. Best regards, Cosmojin Travel Agency

After carefully researching possible tours I regretfully landed on this tour. The dmz was closed due to a swing flu outbreak on the day of my tour. understandably this is out of Cosmonjin's control. what was upsetting was that the tour guide accidentally leaked that the dmz has

Dear Guest Warm Greeting from Cosmojin Travel Agency. Thank you so much for taking the time to write your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the NLL tour The NLL is a very interesting place where you can see real villages of North Korea from the observatory ! The North Korean Defectors braved grave danger, but they now share their story for awareness with us. Thank you for your great comment on your guide SP. SP Hong is a great & knowledgeable guide, full of interesting stories, and with the North Korean Defector, it makes a great combination of histories. Thank you for choosing Cosmojin Travel Agency & we hope to see you again next time ~ We wish you a good continuation :-)

I was signed on for the complete DMZ/JSA tour however the JSA became a no-go and I got adjusted in price to this tour instead. Disappointing but it is what it is. We had a North Korean defector on board our bus and heard some of her story. The 3rd infiltration tunnel is a low

As a bit of a history buff I was probably expecting too much. Our guide appeared not to be very knowledgeable. I was very interested in the Korean War and details of how the DMZ came about. Luckily I was able to read on various as we went. We were picked up on line from our
