Walid was an outstanding guide, driver, interpreter and all-around half-day companion during my one full day in Kuwait. The tour began with obligatory visits to the Kuwait Grand Mosque, the Kuwait National Museum and the Sadu House, a living exhibit of ancient Bedouin weaving arts that are still practiced today. From there, we drove the 35-kilometer causeway over Kuwait Bay to the desert. Crossing open terrain, we went to the remains of a Kuwaiti military base destroyed by Iraq at the beginning of the Gulf War. Then we started seeing camels, approached a few and met the owner, who milked one of the camels into a plastic water bottle for me to drink from. The milk was perfectly fine, if on the warm side on that 110-degree day. The perfect host, Walid was more than accommodating to stop for photos and even to take photos. Finally, he took me to the massive Al-Mubarakiya marketplace and suggested a comfortable (air-conditioned!) restaurant that offered a large menu of traditional Kuwaiti dishes. I had both lunch AND dinner there, as I went back to the market at night, when it cooled down to 103, to buy a Persian carpet. This tour was well worth the price. A full-day tour is too long, especially in the summer heat. Walid's year-old and very clean Toyota SUV has excellent air-conditioning.

Intesting visit of the key site to see in Koweit. Good guide and driver who bring me in the intetsting spot and didn't care of the time ... We started at 3 pm and was back in the hotel around 8 after the visit of tje souk

Tour Guide Walid Amer... Brother was absolutely amazing! I saved his number for future tours with my friends and family. I would definitely recommend it. The brother gave a detailed tour of all the famous places in Kuwait. He was very kind and patient with us. My sister lost her phone in the desert during a quad bike ride and he was so patient in helping us find it.

Walid was the tour guide and he first contacted the day before to schedule the trip - he was very flexible and accommodating. If you want sunset at the desert, he arranges the day to suit… He is a local and knows the area and the region very well. He gave a lot of information about the history and culture of the country and the region. He genuinely makes things interesting and it is so nicely programmed. You visit a place and he starts telling you about it then ties that to the next attraction you are visiting, throws in a few interesting facts and so on… He even saved the life of a street dog on the way! Driving into the desert we saw a lost dog on the way which was clearly dehydrated. Gave him water etc and reported to the animal rescue - which i think was wholesome!

It was good time, thanks to Walid. All day from morning to dusk going city and some piece of desert on well transportation with a/c. I think hit pretty much all maiger point of Kuwait and Kuwait city with Walid, thank you for that.

I searched a lot for a tour in Kuwait that would take me to the desert to see camels. Couldn't really find anything proper so I settled for this one. Oh boy, was I in luck! Ahmad & Walid were just great. I seemlesly communicated with Walid and Ahmad picked me up and dropped me off at the hotel in a very new and big SUV. Comfort all the way. We visited some points of interest in Kuwait which would have been tough to see without a car like: Sadu House, Great Mosque, Kuwait Towers. After that he took us on the bridge on the gulf for some great seightseeing of the city from a different angle. Loved that! Also we hit a desert camp with camels and I managed to take some photos and walk it around, free of charge! The guys in the camp were so welcoming. Ahmad took us to eat were the locals go and it was a great experience! I highly recommend this tour when visiting Kuwait City. Thanks guys!

A flexible tour with good guide. We were treated with history and culture and wonders of architecture as a tourist I felt safe and looked after by the guide. My visa processing was late so the tour began without me but he reworked things to pick me up from my hotel and see the things the others saw before I got there. An eating place was recommended . The dessert drive was interesting and fun. Cameos a highlight and buildings spectacular . Thank you for this tour! Highly recommended with this guide.

I live in the UK, when I did this tour I was travelling solo around the Middle East at 17 years old. I booked a day-trip to Kuwait from Abu Dhabi, I didn’t know what to do or where to go and I found this tour so thought that would sort that out. I was skeptical at first from a previous experience that I would get stood up or left behind so was hoping for a better experience, and boy did I get one! The tour guide arrived promptly at the scheduled arrival tour and greeted me warmly, a great first impression to start with! Straight off the bat he started listing off different facts about the history and current affairs of Kuwait, and other generally interesting information. The tour was extremely in-depth and I feel gave the perfect insight into life in Kuwait, from the Kuwait towers to traditional tea in the desert. I read the reviews before booking this tour and saw that they were all very positive, and being skeptical it crossed my mind that there could’ve been fake reviews as they were almost ‘too positive’, I kept this in mind before and at the start of the tour, but I can hands down say that this tour was fantastic, the tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. If you want to see Kuwait in a day, do this tour! Travelling solo at 17 to a completely unknown foreign country was daunting to start with, but by the end of the tour I was in love with Kuwait, it is a beautiful country with such welcoming people and definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend this tour, genuinely couldn’t have had a better experience in Kuwait, you won’t regret it.

Very interesting tour with a very good mixture between getting to know the cultural heritage of the country, the amazing local food and having fun at the desert ride.

Absolutely the worst experience I had in years with these guys. First, the communication was bad, I had to text them and insist on getting answers as they are not responsive and not really talkative. I asked if the tour is confirmed as I mentioned that I am in Kuwait only for 1 day and is important for me to arrange the tour and to have it confirmed. When I arrived, but I had to mention that I booked the tour 2 weeks before, nobody contacted me, hence, I tried to message them and they just read the message with no reply. I called them but no one answered. I had to call them from a different number so that someone answered and told me that they are sorry and fully booked. I don’t want to get into all the details but I saved screen shots on this “communication” with the tour guide. I would highly recommend not to book them on their website or directly as these guys are choosing customers as the bigger is the group, more money they get. Worst attitude, no customer orientation at all. Try to avoid them if possible!

Brilliant tour, especially the guide. Walid Amer went out of his way to accommodate my itinerary and the list of places I wanted to see. He was full of facts and figures but didn’t overwhelm me with information. We ended up doing both the city tour and a trip to Failaka Island which I would highly recommend if you like abandoned buildings etc. I felt safe and well looked after throughout the whole experience.

This tour is a great combination of visiting urban landmarks in Kuwait City and experiencing Kuwaiti desert. I enjoyed every second of it. Walid is a great and very knowledgeable guy, able to provide a lot of information about Kuwait, its society and its way of life. Crossing the Causeway and having a tea in a tent in a desert were unforgettable experiences. I warmly recommend this tour to everyone travelling to Kuwait.
