About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 619jeffry0 contributionsNatural beauty and historical sites in the HeightsThe Golan Heights is an area of outstanding natural beauty and intriguing historical sites It was captured from Syria during the Six Day War in 1967 and is now part of Israel. The Golan Heights is of great strategic importance, it has a commanding view of the northern Galilee. Apart from its military value, the Golan is a fertile agricultural region. The trip from Jerusalem to the Golan takes around two hours by car.Written 3 November 2023
- 619jeffry0 contributionsHoly sites appeal deeply to believersThe Western Wall, often called the Wailing Wall, is sacred to Jews; other denominations are also welcome. It is adjacent to the wall of the Second Temple, which is all that remains of the Temple. The 4th Century Church of the Sepulcher is the site where Christians traditionally gather to commemorate the site of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Holy Sepulcher is also an important destination on the Via Dolorosa, Christ's Way of Suffering. These sites appeal deeply to believers.Written 2 November 2023
- sheri09150 contributionsThis is a wonderful tour and I pray that Israel be able to offer this again in the near future.Note: We went on this tour on 10/5, 36 hours before the Hamas attack. We really enjoyed the drive from Jerusalem and the stops that we made. Masada was a very interesting sight to behold. My only suggestion is to cut the time spent in Masada by about 30 minutes so you can spend that extra time at the Dead Sea. We got less than 30 minutes there, which was not enough. We floated in the sea for about five minutes and then had to get out and shower off to leave.Written 26 October 2023

- annamO2966LV0 contributionsDangerous and not reliableI was picked up 1 hour later from the hotel During the waiting hour I didn't receive any text or email saying if the tour is cancelled or I still will be picked up After one hour we where dropped off near Western wall and where regrouping again which took another hour During the drive the driver of the bus and the tour guide where discussing the current political citation in Israel (I think it was in Hebrew or Arabic ) and the driver while driving was showing YouTube clips to the guide It was in time of unrest in Israel before the terrorists attack by Hamas We were brought for lunch to overpriced cafeteria with horrible food where they had beef stew on display but served you meat balls The most horrible and unpleasant experience during my whole tripWritten 14 October 2023
- Vilma A0 contributionsTrip to masada and dead seaDan Porges was the best tour guide, he was very informative, this is our first tour in Jerusalem and we learned a lot from him. We really enjoyed this tour to masada and dead sea, everything was well organized, the ruins in masada national park are amazing, swimming in the dead sea was fun, we floated with no effort, science is proved with no doubt, we are happy we joined this tour.Written 13 October 2023

With all the horrors that’s the enfolding in his country. He was a caring man.Written 13 October 2023
- jamiee7540 contributionsDan Porges was a great guide at MasadaGreat day, well-organized. The bus was not at the pick up hotel right when it was supposed to be, maybe 10 minutes late, which made us nervous, but they eventually arrived. Dan was a fun and knowledgable guide. The place where you go to the Dead Sea is a sort of private/public beach - a lot of stairs down to the sea, not the cleanest place I've gone into the Dead Sea from, but it was fine. Overall, recommended.Written 12 October 2023
- Tim S0 contributionsGood tour with a knowledgeable guideI it is impossible to spend as much time in a site as you would like to when you only have a couple of days to hit the highlights. Dan Porges did an excellent job of knowing this and using every available minute tobring to life the Old and New Testaments accounts of these areas. The coach was comfort able, the agenda was well planned out and adhered to. My only complaint was the number of shops that always seemed present. However, I never felt pressured to purchase anything. I know some people enjoy that but it is a waste of time for me. If you take this opportunity our with Dan you will learn much and have a delightful time.Written 10 October 2023
- Jean J0 contributionsEXCELLENTIt was an organized and well-explained tour. Dan has excellent knowledge of every place he took us. He always refers to bible scriptures, which I am familiar with. It helps us understand from the beginning Hashem's plans for humankind. Thank you, Dan and the Driver who tooks us every where safely.Written 10 October 2023
- Ferret990 contributionsFirst Class response to a difficult situation. Totally RecommendedWe were unfortunate enough to be in Israel when the Hamas attack took place. We had just boarded our BeinHarim Tour bus and were headed for our first stop when the guide received the telephone call and we had to abandon the tour and be taken back to our Cruise Ship. BeinHarim were top class throughout. They got us back safely and then, as we had booked direct through them, processed full refunds for us for both this tour and the one we had booked two days later to Jerusalem from Ashdod. The refunds were back on my card within 3 days. I will certainly use BeinHarim again when I return to Israel to complete the tours I was unable to take this time around. - Roving350998562780 contributionsGuided tour to Bethlehem and Jerusalem with ItamarI have been to Israel several times, but never in the Palestiaian areas - not until this summer. I signed up with the tour to Bethelehem, and was invited by the guide to join the rest of the group that was travelling further to Jerusalem. This was an amazing experience. Itamar was very knowlegdeble, this also goes for the palestinian guide - who also spoke several languages. The bus driver was also a very nice man. All these people, made the experience even better. The trip was well organized and despite travelling alone, I felt safe the whole time. Originally, I was planning to visit Jerusalem alone. However, I´m glad I didn´t. I´d get lost, and in addition miss a lot of relevant information about the different places. I have nothing to complain about and will really recommend Bein Harim Tourism Service.Written 8 October 2023
- anelieset220 contributionsVery professionalWe were booked onto this trip today (07/10) we were picked up on time but didn't make the destinations due to the war breaking out on route to Jerusalem. We want to thank our tour guide Roy & the driver of the coach for keeping us safe whilst the rockets flew over & bombs were going off. To say they were professional is an understatement. They kept everyone calm & informed throughout.Written 7 October 2023

An excellent tour with Bein Haim Tourism Services. Mr. Udi was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide imparting insightful information on the people, historic sites, and current day events . The tour was well organized, with sufficient time to explore the different sights we were visiting. Lunch was hearty and culturally stimulating. The tours are amazing. The guides are very knowledgeable and include a lot of information I did not expect. This is the only way to really see the sights in Israel. Also very efficient at picking you up and dropping you off before and after the tours

Best tour guide I’ve ever experienced! Itamar’s passion, knowledge and ability to customise a tour to an audience’s preference made this the most memorable and enjoyable tour I’ve been on - I can’t recommend Itamar enough and after experiencing tours all over the world, I speak with certainty that anyone and everyone would absolutely enjoy being guided by Itamar regardless of their destination or travel goals!

Dissapointing tour of bethelem and jerusalem, the trip was mosty a bus trip, in the morning we saw mosty things from the bus ans the spent 1h in a souvenir shop. Then we headed to the nativity church were things felt rushed as lunch time was at 12, so the mornign was spent mostly on bus/sog enir shop and lunch (that we used to visit bethelem on our own). Then headed back to jerusalem were we did the walking tour, this part was better, but really not worth the money paid for the tour.

I made sure we had a free Saturday in Tel Aviv after returning from a cruise and before we flew home. There were many places we could have visited during this day, but Jerusalem and Bethlehem were by far the most attractive options.
Pickup time was early - before 7am at a larger hotel less than 5 minutes walk from us and the bus pulled up right on time. We were driven a short distance to the "meeting point" where everyone was shuffled of to different buses. It was pretty efficient, and we were off.
During the drive to Jerusalem (1 hour+) we were given an overall history of Israel. Interesting. Ah, but there was also a stop at a coffee shop / diner. Elvis Presley themed. Yes, you hear that right. It worked as a restroom stop, too. Wife and I ordered 2 coffees. The charge was about $17.50US or so. I was shocked, but ok. They weren't even big mugs. When we got back to the bus I realized (from hearing others talk) that the price include the Elvis-themed mugs. That made me feel a little better even though we left our mugs inside ... our extra suitcase space was reserved for more local treasures anyway. Remember, the coffee price INCLUDES the mugs.
The first part of the tour had me a bit worried. It was mostly seeing things from the bus and taking pictures out of the windows. Alas, we finally did get to leave the bus at a couple of lookups and site. Later and in both locations we also did get off to bus to explore churches and such. We had 3 hours or so of guided old Jerusalem and then some minimal free time. In all, for a bus tour, the time was allocated well.
Bethlehem came before Jerusalem this day. There was some concern with is that this went into the Palestinian area. Alas, we had no trouble all stress was relieved once we got there. Tourism is just that, and the people made us comfortable, including the lunch there. Also, the large Christian gift shop was interesting and my wife loved it (Perhaps a little too much!$$).
Our tour guide, Avishay, was excellent. Humorous, knowledgeable and very helpful/accommodating. We lucked out getting him! At one point my wife wondered off (during free time) and we couldn't find her. He made a plan that reduced any impact on the rest of the group and gave time to find her. It all worked out (she had gotten stuck in a crush of people moving through one of the Stations of the Cross areas). I was stressed yet his calming and organized planning made it work out ok.
In all, a very worthwhile and enjoyable tour. I am so glad we chose to take this one.

The overall tour experience was bad, if we take into consideration what we paid for it. We were picked up from the starting point only to go to a different meeting point where we were combined with the people going to our same trip as ours. Only that took a fair amount of time.
Once we started on the tour, our guide was highlighting points of interest on our way to Bethlehem and ask people to take pictures from the bus. As you can imagine, that, is not what we were expecting from a tour. We would have liked to make a stop on those points and properly see the thing rather than passing by and “see” it from the bus.
One place where we did stop on our way was a souvenir shop that I can only think has some sort of agreement with the operator in order to get the people to buy things there. We stop there for more than an hour and we resumed our trip to Bethlehem passed 11:00 am having yet seen nothing at all when we have been picked up before 8:00 am.
The Bethlehem tour lasted less than an hour and we felt it quite rushed as lunch time was approaching. We decided to just skip lunch to see a bit more of the city on our own and meet with the group once they have finished. After that, we headed back to Jerusalem where we finally could walk a bit around the city. We basically went through half the stations in Via Dolorosa street and the western wall however everything still pretty rushed as the day was coming to an end.
In our opinion, smaller groups would be more manageable in order to get the most out of the visited sites and have a guide properly explaining you the history of them, otherwise, the tour doesn’t really provide any additional value than going on your own.

It was life changing, especially as a Christian. The tour guide was so knowledgeable both about the city and about the Bible. I don't give reviews, the fact I am writing this shows how special it was. Highly recommend. I wish they added free lunch to the package though :)

When you book, you provide your preferred pick up point in Tel Aviv. The company will then provide you with the closest pickup point.
They have several tours a day and each tour bus picks people up in a different section of Tel Aviv, and brings them to a central location (a park) in Tel Aviv. From there, you transfer to your actual tour bus.
Upon return, the bus drops you back where you were picked up.
