The Golan Heights is an area of outstanding natural beauty and intriguing historical sites It was captured from Syria during the Six Day War in 1967 and is now part of Israel. The Golan Heights is of great strategic importance, it has a commanding view of the northern Galilee. Apart from its military value, the Golan is a fertile agricultural region. The trip from Jerusalem to the Golan takes around two hours by car.

The Western Wall, often called the Wailing Wall, is sacred to Jews; other denominations are also welcome. It is adjacent to the wall of the Second Temple, which is all that remains of the Temple. The 4th Century Church of the Sepulcher is the site where Christians traditionally gather to commemorate the site of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Holy Sepulcher is also an important destination on the Via Dolorosa, Christ's Way of Suffering. These sites appeal deeply to believers.

Note: We went on this tour on 10/5, 36 hours before the Hamas attack. We really enjoyed the drive from Jerusalem and the stops that we made. Masada was a very interesting sight to behold. My only suggestion is to cut the time spent in Masada by about 30 minutes so you can spend that extra time at the Dead Sea. We got less than 30 minutes there, which was not enough. We floated in the sea for about five minutes and then had to get out and shower off to leave.

This trip was cancelled haphazardly at the last minute, and the trip operator was not helpful. As such, we did not get to experience this trip. Getting 1 star because 0 stars was not an option.

I was picked up 1 hour later from the hotel During the waiting hour I didn't receive any text or email saying if the tour is cancelled or I still will be picked up After one hour we where dropped off near Western wall and where regrouping again which took another hour During the drive the driver of the bus and the tour guide where discussing the current political citation in Israel (I think it was in Hebrew or Arabic ) and the driver while driving was showing YouTube clips to the guide It was in time of unrest in Israel before the terrorists attack by Hamas We were brought for lunch to overpriced cafeteria with horrible food where they had beef stew on display but served you meat balls The most horrible and unpleasant experience during my whole trip

Dan Porges was the best tour guide, he was very informative, this is our first tour in Jerusalem and we learned a lot from him. We really enjoyed this tour to masada and dead sea, everything was well organized, the ruins in masada national park are amazing, swimming in the dead sea was fun, we floated with no effort, science is proved with no doubt, we are happy we joined this tour.

Our favourite time on the tour was with our tour guide Avi. Took us into the old city. He was knowledgeable and understanding. I would like to know if Avi is safe. With all the horrors that’s the enfolding in his country. He was a caring man.

Great day, well-organized. The bus was not at the pick up hotel right when it was supposed to be, maybe 10 minutes late, which made us nervous, but they eventually arrived. Dan was a fun and knowledgable guide. The place where you go to the Dead Sea is a sort of private/public beach - a lot of stairs down to the sea, not the cleanest place I've gone into the Dead Sea from, but it was fine. Overall, recommended.

I it is impossible to spend as much time in a site as you would like to when you only have a couple of days to hit the highlights. Dan Porges did an excellent job of knowing this and using every available minute tobring to life the Old and New Testaments accounts of these areas. The coach was comfort able, the agenda was well planned out and adhered to. My only complaint was the number of shops that always seemed present. However, I never felt pressured to purchase anything. I know some people enjoy that but it is a waste of time for me. If you take this opportunity our with Dan you will learn much and have a delightful time.

It was an organized and well-explained tour. Dan has excellent knowledge of every place he took us. He always refers to bible scriptures, which I am familiar with. It helps us understand from the beginning Hashem's plans for humankind. Thank you, Dan and the Driver who tooks us every where safely.

We were unfortunate enough to be in Israel when the Hamas attack took place. We had just boarded our BeinHarim Tour bus and were headed for our first stop when the guide received the telephone call and we had to abandon the tour and be taken back to our Cruise Ship. BeinHarim were top class throughout. They got us back safely and then, as we had booked direct through them, processed full refunds for us for both this tour and the one we had booked two days later to Jerusalem from Ashdod. The refunds were back on my card within 3 days. I will certainly use BeinHarim again when I return to Israel to complete the tours I was unable to take this time around. First Class Customer Service

I have been to Israel several times, but never in the Palestiaian areas - not until this summer. I signed up with the tour to Bethelehem, and was invited by the guide to join the rest of the group that was travelling further to Jerusalem. This was an amazing experience. Itamar was very knowlegdeble, this also goes for the palestinian guide - who also spoke several languages. The bus driver was also a very nice man. All these people, made the experience even better. The trip was well organized and despite travelling alone, I felt safe the whole time. Originally, I was planning to visit Jerusalem alone. However, I´m glad I didn´t. I´d get lost, and in addition miss a lot of relevant information about the different places. I have nothing to complain about and will really recommend Bein Harim Tourism Service.

We were booked onto this trip today (07/10) we were picked up on time but didn't make the destinations due to the war breaking out on route to Jerusalem. We want to thank our tour guide Roy & the driver of the coach for keeping us safe whilst the rockets flew over & bombs were going off. To say they were professional is an understatement. They kept everyone calm & informed throughout.
