Highlights
  • On a Jerusalem tour, learn about life in the West Bank
  • Includes a Palestinian-style lunch in a Bethlehem restaurant
  • Travel by climate-controlled vehicle to keep cool and comfortable
  • See sites of Biblical and historic importance
What to Expect
At a central location in Jerusalem, board a climate-controlled minivan for the trip to the West Bank. Upon arrival in the Palestinian community of Ramallah, walk through the town to see the tomb of Yasser Arafat, who once lead the Palestine Liberation Organization. You’ll visit the ancient ruins of Jericho, one of the world’s oldest cities, then pause at Qasr al-Yahud, the Jordan River site where Jesus is believed to have been baptized. Next, head to Bethlehem for a Palestinian lunch in a local restaurant. You’ll also visit the Church of the Nativity and the Milk Grotto, and then see the “separation wall” that divides the city from Israel before returning to Jerusalem.

The tour felt rushed and there was not an even spread of time at each location. The first stop Ramallah was just a 5 minute walk through the town - although there were a couple of stories the guide told us that were interesting. Jericho was disappointing - we watched a 5 minute

The overall itinerary is too rushed. A lot of time on the bus. Our tour guide spend most of the time chatting with the driver instead of talking relevant subjects. I'm sorry but I won't be able to recommend this tour.
