Overview
Make the most of precious sightseeing time in Jerusalem by touring both Old Jerusalem and Bethlehem in a day. After viewing the main sites of the walled city, including the Western Wall and Holy Sepulchre Church, continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. Ideal for travelers with limited time, the trip makes your exploring easy and rewarding, with hotel transfers and guided touring included.
What to Expect
Leave your Jerusalem hotel by air-conditioned coach and head for the Mount of Olives, just east of Old Jerusalem.

Admire the panoramas from here over the city and the Dome of the Rock, and pass the Garden of Gethsemane, where it’s held that Jesus prayed before his arrest.

Next, visit Old Jerusalem to view the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) and Via Dolorosa where Jesus is thought to have walked to Calvary. See some of the stations of the cross and view the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, built on the believed crucifixion site.

Then, pass Jerusalem’s Byzantine-era Cardo before driving on to Bethlehem. Here, visit the Church of the Nativity to see where Jesus is believed to have been born, and discover the adjoining Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches and Manger Square—Bethlehem’s spiritual heart and home to the Mosque of Omar.

Your tour then concludes at your Jerusalem hotel.

Yuval Bigio guide and tour

If you are looking to book a tour of Jerusalem and Bethlehem I recommend that you request Yuval Bigio as your tour guide. He is multilingual and very knowledge about the sites that we toured and has a great sense of humor.

Yoav Malachi is probably the best tour guide you can get in Jerusalem.

I haven't taken any other tour with Bein Harim, but I can't imagine a better tour guide. Yoav is very good at what he does. He is knowledgeable and funny, and his reverence for the rich history of every location we visited was infectious. He...More
