Cu Chi Tunnels Experience: Small Group Tour
From US$26,00
Overview
Learn about the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive subterranean network of living and transit spaces, on this guided tour from Ho Chi Minh City. Through your guide’s enlightening commentary, understand how the Viet Cong lived and fought in these tunnels during the Vietnam War. Travel with a small group, which ensures personalized attention from your guide, and skip the hassle of renting a car, as round-trip transportation is included.
What to Expect
Enjoy convenient pickup at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, and then settle in for the ride to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Relax and enjoy the scenery, getting to know the others in your small group of just 15 people or fewer.

Once you arrive, get oriented with a documentary film about the tunnels, which were essentially an underground city that stretched all the way to the Cambodian border.

On the guided tour, see the different rooms and transit passages including a weapons bunker, food storage, a uniform-making studio, and a field kitchen. Try some tapioca with salt sesame, a specialty during this time period.

Visit a hall commemorating the soldiers of the war, where you’ll learn about landmarks such as Long Bien, the Saigon Bridge, the One Pillar Pagoda, Hue, and Nha Rong Wharf.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City for convenient drop-off at your hotel.
