What to expect
Your 2-hour bike tour of Bangkok follows an easy route that is suitable for all ages, with plenty of stops for refreshments. With a maximum of six people, this small-group experience ensures a relaxed pace, with time to ask your guide questions about the sights you see.  Start with a journey through a Muslim community, passing by the Old Customs House on the river. From here, weave through a maze of streets with stops at the Holy Rosary Church and Thailand’s first bank then continue cycling through alleys that make up Bangkok’s vibrant and bustling Chinatown. Following your guide, you’ll discover the diverse cultures that comprise this lively part of the city. Ferry across the Chao Phraya River to the east side of Bangkok and pedal around historical Thonburi. Make stops at Wat Thong Thammachat and the 8-story pagoda of Chee Chin Khor Temple. See the remains of a fort that once protected Bangkok from pirates and learn about these classic examples of Thai heritage and culture. Afterward, it's a short trip back to the starting point to unwind and enjoy soft drinks or water with newfound friends.

morning bike tour
Jan 2020
Really enjoyed the bike and boat ride. Our guide, Chin, was really fun and he shared the historical background of Thonburi. After riding the long tail boat, we cycled near the canal area. Truly an eye opening experience! Would recommend the morning slot as it was cooling to cycle. Some cycling paths were narrow and require careful maneuvering on the bicycle (suitable for those who are comfortable cycling on the road and narrow ways). We were able to glimpse the local daily lifestyle as we were cycling.

A great way to discover the hidden Bangkok
Just come back off the 4 hour tour - which turned out to be a bit longer....

I found this company a year ago and wanted to book a private group for my family and some friends who had kindly hosted us over the New Year. It turned out to be the perfect choice.

You potter through a variety of Bangkok districts including China Town, the flower market and the Portuguese area. We’re talking small paths and roads you would never dream of venturing down on your own.

Our guide spoke excellent English and she provided a lovely insight into Bangkok life. We reciprocated with a little knowledge on the UK and strangely Abu Dhabi !

We tried a variety of local snacks and had a coffee in the Sino Portuguese museum. At no point were we rushed, the ride was easy and not demanding, that said we earned our dinner !

Highlight of my solo Bangkok experience
Jun 2019 • Solo
Its a must to try. It is my first time to be in Bangkok and it preoccupy my mind as to what are the best places to see in a short stay in the city. I've learned new and interesting things and the places are not that tourist spots so you can enjoy Bangkok in a different perspective (discovering and immersing with locals). Our guide, Oillie is great. She is so kind and give us free snacks and a flower as souvenir. Good thing I am able to bring it here in Manila. Likewise, my co-participants are friendly too, Lastly, Ray (the owner) promptly answers all my queries. Overall, I will recommend it and will surely do this again, the next time I visit. It exceeds my expectation.

Morning 2 hour bike tour

What a wonderful bike tour! We loved our tour guide, Olle. Great pictures, scenic views, and places we would’ve never seen on a typical tour. Finding the exact spot was difficult so I would advise calling beforehand for exact location.

Personal tour!
Apr 2019 • Solo
I loved the tour. You get to go on small paths and in small alleyways that you wouldn't dare to cycle through on your own (partly because you wouldn't know if they lead anywhere). You see lots of backstreet life, which is fantastic. I had the added benefit of having the tour to myself (I think the other two people didn't show up). Nick is a lovely and friendly tour guide, and pointed out lots of interesting things.

Can't praise this tour enough
Dec 2018 • Family
I did this tour on Christmas Day with my 3 grown-up children and it was the highlight of our stay in Bangkok. Our guide, Nick, was a fantastic advocate for the city, showing us the back streets, stopping to give us information on the history and culture of the city plus samples of fruit, drinks and even freshly cooked cakes.
The bikes were well-maintained and the tour not too strenuous for me (haven't cycled for 20 years!) but enjoyed by all my sporty kids too.
We had a fantastic afternoon which in fact stretched to 5 hours rather than the 4 we paid for as Nick gave us as long as we wanted to look at each site.

Amazing back alleys and historical sites of Bangkok that most tourists don't ever get to see.
Nov 2018 • Solo
Went on the Go Red Culture Cycling Tour of Bangkok. This is a four hour cycling tour with a short ferry ride across the river. Stops included light refreshments, Thai temple visits, feeding the turtles and crocodiles (not kidding!) and historic cultural buildings plus a stop at the flower market. Didn't really know what to expect...Turn out to be quite amazing! I love cycling...Love to cycle in Bangkok but it can be very dangerous! So booked this guided tour so I could enjoy the cycling in a safe supervised manner. Originally, didn't really think much about all the designated historical stops....Turns out each and every stop was a high light. There's a different story to be told at every stop.
Our guide, Chin, was so knowledgeable, funny and experienced that cycling was a lot of fun. The group consisted a maximum of six individuals...All of them was a real delight to have known. On this tour you will get to see all the fascinating back alleys and short cuts only the local Thai people will know about. And, very surprisingly, all were very accommodating towards a group of cycling tourist going right pass their door steps or businesses!
A good advise, stay close to the group. It's easier to weave through the traffic as a single line. This is why there is only a maximum of six cyclists. The route itself avoids all the dangerous large roads with speeding cars. This is where all the short cuts and alley ways comes in to play. The four hours went so quick!

I would recommend this cycling tour company for so many reasons but one reason that stands out for me is the fact the Go Tour Bangkok office, the official tour meeting point and where there is a cooking class, is right bang inside a typical fresh Thai market...Basically your adventure started before your tour starts! Plus...You will get 5% off your tour price if you bring them a souvenir from your home country..Nice!

One last thing to mention...On the day of my tour, there were six people booked, but three lovely young ladies from The US were running a little late, like 30 minutes behind due to Bangkok traffic and stuff, obviously there was a grace period of 15 to 20 minutes waiting for them to arrive. But they hadn't so the tour started without them. The tour was already 15 minutes in.Stopping at our second designated stop when Ray, the owner of this tour cycling company, brought over the three missing ladies so they could join in with the rest of the tour. AMAZING! I don't know if any other tour company would've done that.
And the tour was all the better because the people who worked at the Go Bangkok Tour made an effort to ensure the everyone had a good time. And that extended to providing complimentary soft drinks and water at the tour office.Awesome!

Discover the unseen beauty of Bangkok
Sep 2018 • Couples
My wife and i decided to try sometime new on our recent trip to Bangkok and a bike tour was what we decided on. The 2 hour tour was what we took up. Before reaching the office of Go Bangkok Tours, we were welcomed by the scene of a wet market and that already made us excited. Oleh was our guide, a very jovial and knowledgeable one and we enjoyed our tour with him. He speaks English and basic mandarin and made the tour entertained while watching after us. We are amazed by the sights (temples, local houses, streets, road, narrow alley and abandon buildings) and the locals while we cycled down the route. All these cannot really be seen if not of the bike tour so we will recommend travelers to take up the tour.

Bike cultural tour
Sep 2018 • Solo
This is one of the most interesting tours I have ever undertaken. Great compay and Nick the guide was informative, friendly and very safety conscious
The initial street safety video was areal gem and set the tone for a professional yet “tough on the streets” ride. Loads of interesting places on and off the beaten track supported by cultural, historic and informative commentary from our guide.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Bikes are not lightweight but provide all the mechanical power you need and a big soft seat. Adequate storage supported by constant supply of cold water on the route. 4 hours of total fun and enjoyment.

Dear TA reviewer, Many thanks for taking your time to write down and explain to the public reading this that you had a fantastic tour with us. Safety is indeed high on our agenda and to break the ice a fun but yet informative introduction Video will make it even better. Happy to read that Nick contributed to this and have given him the heads up about your review. (Made him smile) As for the bikes we can't really go much lighter. We wish we could but at 11KG it serves all weight including bumps on the road. LOL Looking forward seeing you again on your next trip! Its going to be fun! Kindest regards, Ray
