While the journey was challenging, our guide Tej has made the trek both exciting and enjoyable by showing us the various iconic views along the way. Tej also consistently check on our conditions especially the high altitude sickness. He pace the trek according to our ability and suggested breaks to allow us to hydrate & rest. Overall Tej played an important role to help me achieve my goal to reach the EBC.Written 15 March 2024

- delythw20240 contributionsHighly recommend this trek for scenery, wildlife, culture and great guides! Very doable for relatively fit over 60s. Go!I highly recommend the Langtang national park trek! Breathtaking scenery, stunning sunsets, wild mountain monkeys (saw the troop twice next to the trail), colourful birds, lots of yaks, domestic animals in villages, pristine rivers with very safe suspension bridges, and mule trains carrying goods to remote villages. The guides were enthusiastic, funny, kind and very helpful and caring. Their English was good and they were knowledgeable about their country. You have to expect the hotels to be basic but we were never cold with our down sleeping bags and quilts were also provided. It was fun to sit in the dining area with the wood burning stove every evening and play cards and socialise. I think Wi-Fi was available everywhere we stayed. The remote hotels did well with food and we were never hungry. We had no issues with altitude sickness and most of my family took pills to prevent it. No one got ill other than a cold for one member. The trek was not as difficult as I feared. I’m a fairly active 62 year old female and managed fine, and everyone slows down at the highest altitudes. Half a minute break can renew you quickly. My knee played up but was fixed with sports tape so I recommend bringing a roll. We also recommend bringing toilet paper as this wasn’t supplied free. We were able to see all the sites in Kathmandu at the beginning and end of our adventure. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and we had the same good jeep driver for everything. We recommend taking travel sickness pills for the jeep ride in and out of the mountains, if you are at all susceptible. We learned much about the history, culture and wildlife of Nepal. The only negative was seeing a bit of litter on the lower trails from those not respecting this wonderful planet. Finally we were lucky with bright blue skies every day and were very warm walking in November. Go and enjoy!Written 12 January 2024
- caitlynl2930 contributionsGreat Experience!!My dad and I went on the trek together for New Years, and it was amazing! Definitely a cold time of year to do it, but we had a great time nonetheless, and had the trail to ourselves a lot of the time! Mr. Santosh was amazing and arranged everything for us, and picked us up from the airport even though we had very late flights. He was accommodating and went over all the info with us before the trek. Our guide, Binod, was great and helped us out all along the way. I would definitely recommend him as a guide. Halfway into the trek our boots started to rip and he had a contact who repaired shoes, crisis averted! Overall Amazing Nepal Trek is a great company and I would definitely trek with them again. Thanks for everything!Written 7 January 2024

- mshian630 contributionsLangtang Valley & Gosainkunda TrekSantosh arranged the 10 days Langtang Valley & Gosainkunda trek for five of us. A SUV was used to transport us from Kathmandu to Syahbrubesi, the trail head of our hike. The journey was only about 130km but took more than 7 hrs due to the bad road condition. Our guide Tez, assistant guide Samsun, and the two porters Bahadur and Lila are most helpful. We were always served with fruits brought up by the porters after every dinner. We enjoyed tremendously our hike through the beautiful trail with spectacular scenery. Besides the hike, we also managed to visit the seven sites in Kathmandu Valley, that are collectively declared UNESCO World Heritage sites. We are greatly satisfied by the arrangement made by Amazing Nepal.Written 8 December 2023
- Bea1993z0 contributionsMagicalWe had the most incredible time trekking with Amazing Nepal. Such a lovely team working tirelessly to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Tej was a fantastic guide - friendly and knowledgeable. The rest of the team (Santosh, Telak, Eka and Prakash) were equally wonderful! We couldn't have asked for better accomodation, food (including nightly fruit platters) and company. The pace was perfect and very much determined by us. In summary, close to two weeks of great company surrounded by the world's tallest mountains. One of my favourite trips to date with memories I'm sure will last a lifetime. Highly recommend to anyone planning EBC!Written 7 December 2023

- cindygY5526GP0 contributionsAnnapurna Base Camp + Poon Hill tour with Tej Karki and his teamTej Karki and his team were our group’s guides for the Annapurna Base Camp + Poon Hill tour from the 18th-29th September 2023 and they were absolutely amazing! We were a group of 11 people of average 50+ age from Sydney. Tej’s team have more than a decade of experience and were very prepared to ensure not only our safety but a very satisfying journey. They organised great accommodation and meals for us so that we got to try a range of delicious Nepalese foods. So organised, patient and caring towards each of us in the group! Tej in particular gave me lots of encouragement throughout the tour especially when I was struggling or feeling tired. They truly gave us an experience of a lifetime and I won’t ever forget their kindness and support! Thank you so much! Highly highly highly recommend Tej and his team!Written 30 November 2023
- Yeo B0 contributionsDream come true - ABC Basecamp trekkingI would like to take this opportunity to thank Amazing Nepal trekking Mr Santosh for all the arrangements . transportation and hotel. - Leiqh0 contributionsSolo and YoloAmazing Nepal was truly amazing. Did the Gokyo-Chola pass-Ebc anticlockwise route. Though as a soloist, I had my own room throughout the whole journey. Santosh was so resourceful to be able to get direct flights between Kathmandu to Lukla though it was the peak season. He also made sure to check my wellbeing during the whole trek. Most importantly, its my best fortune to have *Krishna Magar*, super strong दाइ (dāi) as my guide. I actually gave up halfway while climbing Gokyo Ri but he was crazy enough to suggest that we do it again. We crazily summited after the 2nd attempt thanks to his encouragement, support and plenty of patience as I needed to rest a lot. He believed in me more than me believing myself. There were many episodes during the hike but we overcame them and completed the trek successfully. I'm very grateful for Krishna and Amazing Nepal. Thank you for showing me to your beautiful country. They are really a group of modest and kind people working hard to support their livelihood. I sincerely wish that Amazing Nepal team and Krishna always be well, don't get injured, take care and may the business continue to prosper. Till we meet again:)Written 23 November 2023

- jimbU1526TQ0 contributionsTwo thumbs up for Amazing Népal Trek and ExpeditionsJust concluded a successful trek to Everest Base Camp with Amazing Népal Trek and Expédition. Having done many treks and multi-day hikes including Kilimanjaro and Tour du M’ont Blanc I can easily say that Santosh and his team were superb. From the time they picked us up at the Kathmandu airport they made sure our experience in Nepal was memorable. Ours was a small group of four people. Each of us were totally impressed. Our guides, Tej and Tilak made sure they did everything possible to ensure we successfully reached EBC and we did. Can’t recommend these guys enough. I have friends that plan to use them for their second and third treks in Nepal.Written 19 November 2023

I did the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Amazing Nepal Trekking in March/April 2022. I couldn't recommend the company more. Santosh made the booking and the slight route modification process very quick and easy. And a special thanks to my guide Khem, who was very professional, committed to his job and simply a great hiking companion! I'll definitely do more trips with these guys again.

We just completed a fantastic trek with Binod as our guide and Sanjaya as our porter who work for Amazing Nepal. They worked really well together to make our trip enjoyable. They adjusted the itinerary where necessary so that we could manage the altitude and suggested we caught a bus at one stage when the track was windy and dusty. They found us excellent accommodation. They set a pace that was easy to manage and always considered our safety. We would recommend the company to anyone considering Treking in Nepal and in particular we would recommend that you request the services of these two young men.
