      Great experience
Whilst out in Eswatini, I had a great day with Myxo Woza Nawe Cultural Day Tours, experiencing the Manzini market and then onto Hlane Royal National Park for an afternoon safari. Myxo was a brilliant guide for the day, and I highly recommend.

A+++ Fantastic cultural immersion, a great way to see the country, a very unique and special experience
I travelled to Eswatini as a solo Canadian lady, so I was looking for a tour operator who was reputable and would ensure I was safe for my visit. Myxo developed a custom five night tour for me that incorporated all of the game parks and sights I wanted to experience while in Eswatini. It was fantastic! He is a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable. The entire trip was so enjoyable. I especially loved the Swazi village homestay. The food was fantastic, accommodation in my own hut was a great experience, the family is so kind and welcoming, and our visit to a local school was so much fun. I highly recommend Myxo and Woza Nawe. I cannot wait to return to Eswatini again - this time, I’ll have a friend to visit! Thank you, Myxo!

      Guide Bobo is a rockstar🤙🏽
I have had amazing experiences during my roadtrip through South Africa but this experience might be the most memorable one. The trip to get to the village Kaphunga is challenging and starts off like your typical African road adventure. Luckily the guide Bobo was there to guide me through the narrow mountain pass. Upon arrival in Kaphunga. I was rewarded with the most beautiful views and delicious homecooked food on open fire! This visit to Swaziland was special! Guide Bobo and Louazi are true rockstars making sure you are immersed in Swazi culture by visiting local schools, an amateur football game and wandering through the village. I stayed for two nights but I could have easily stayed there for a few more nights as the country is packed with friendly people, amazing nature and adventures. I will come back for sure!

A tour not to be missed
The landscape was stunning, with the flora and fauna, fresh air and nice weather, this hiking experience was truly enjoyable and memorable. Lunga led me on this adventure and she was talented and genuine. Lunga had covered varieties of aspects about Eswatini and Mbabane. This tour is highly recommended.

If you are looking for the authentic tribal/traditional tour. You found it!
It was an incredible experience visiting Esswatini with Myxo's family. Everyone, Bobo, Nelly, Thema, and all the others were very pleasent. We got to participate in really local stuff. In our case, we went to a local church where they were doing an special celebration. During it, I was very lucky! The chief's son called me to speak in front of 100~200 people. It was so amazing!!! This kind of tour is not something you can easily find. Usually those tribal things are very touristic-oriented, so you don't get to see what's real. This tour, in the other hand, was very local. We got to experience their day to day stuff.... Greatly recommend it! PS: our's was the Authentic Village Visit.

      Highly experienced and insightful
Myxo Mdluli has been offering tourism and guiding services in eSwatini for many years, and he’s acquired deep expertise about things that visitors might want to do and know about his country. We used his services for three days in the fall of 2023 and were happy we did so. His vehicle was new, and his driving didn’t make us nervous. Myxo always was on time, and he was flexible about our program. He’s a real individual; you’re not dealing with some corporate cog. Although his website is detailed, I think having a conversation or two with him via WhatsApp might help visitors refine their expectations and program. Overall, we felt he more than delivered what he’d promised.

Excellent tour, excellent guide, beautiful country
I spent 4 days touring with Myxo and Woza Nawe tours and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Myxo picked me up from the airport and I was very happy to have found such an energetic, friendly, and easy to talk to guide who was also full of great information. I got to experience the life in Eswatini for a few days, but my highlights were hiking through Malolotja Nature Reserve, staying in "a beehive" on top of a beaitiful mountain in the small villiage of Kaphunga (the two men who hosted were wonderful, I'm sorry I forget their names!), and doing a game drive through Mkhaya National Park. Eswatini has a wonderful laid back and relaxed feeling about it and is full of beautiful scenery and friendly people. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great time at the KaPhunga Village
Earlier this year had the privilege to spend time with Myxo and his wonderful colleagues at the kaPhunga village homestead. Me, my husband and our two friends truly enjoyed it, even though we didn't have enough time in our travel schedule to stay a little longer. Really loved having the opportunity to experience rural eSwatini. Myxo and his colleagues are kind and truly knowledgeable guides and hosts who shared with us lots of interesting things about their country. It was wonderful to watch a lovely sunset or to have a really engaging conversation with Myxo after dinner on the roof deck watching shooting stars - we loved it! Oh, and cannot forget some of the best-view toilets in Africa! :-) Sleeping in the traditional huts was really comfortable with proper mattresses and linen. Having worked in southern African tourism for many years, I can honestly recommend this experience to everyone visiting eSwatini. The gravel road drive getting there was definitely worth it and an integral part of the overall experience! And the fact that this is a 100% locally owned and operated business only adds to it being a must on your travels!

      TIME WELL SPENT
Woza Nawe Home-stay Ka’phunga, Eswatini: One hopes to spend time on earth WELL, FULLY and with open curiosity. Our family visit to Ka’phunga village (almost as high up on the hills as heaven) with Myxo and Bobo, provided the perfect opportunity for TIME WELL SPENT. Planning and communication with Myxo started on TripAdvisor (seemed like an inactive listing but I was determined) and Myxo then communicated via email and WhatsApp. We booked a two night stay. On New Year’s Day 2023, Myxo met me and my family, including our two young sons, outside the Pick n Pay in Manzini. We were excited to find him successfully after a challenging drive up through Mpumalanga, SA, into Eswatini: towed out of mud by a kind tractor driver and our key had broken off in the ignition as we turned into the parking lot of Pick n Pay! Myxo, a man with an enormous smile, welcomed us, with wide open arms. He kindly accommodated our car trouble, leading us to a MOVING KEYS outlet nearby. What a find! (But that’s another story…). And then we were headed to Ka’phunga: we followed Myxo in his car, stopping at Manzini market; purchasing some vegetables on the side of the road, and enjoying some freshly roasted mielies (corn on the cob) along the way. We held the mielies outside the car windows as we passed simple and beautiful scenery, and the mielies cooled. Turning off the tar road and onto the gravel road, we drive up and up and up and up and up… the road was challenging but Myxo’s little car hurtling ahead of us provided reassurance for ours. We passed a clinic, a school, the chief’s house, goats, children, pedestrians and a few cars. Extensive vegetable gardens, chicken coops, locals travelling a distance on foot. When we could go no higher, we landed at Ka’phunga: the nearby school and church standing out. Myxo’s compound is beautiful. I don’t want to say more because it will spoil the delight of his next visitor’s arrival. Suffice to say: Our accommodation was spotless and so comfortable. The food that was prepared for us was wholesome and delicious. Greens from Myxo’s vegetable garden. Can ablutions be beautiful? These were! I can’t say more, it will steal your delight. Bobo is a wonderful guide: We visited the neighbours. We walked to a church service some kilometers away. We were generously welcomed into a small and intimate space of worship. Our boys played soccer on the hill. Again, too much and it will set expectations. Just arrive open-hearted and curious. There is no ‘itinerary’ of activities. Myxo and Bobo work with what’s happening in real life. Nothing planned or curated. Your stay evolves while you are with them. Thank you to Myxo and Bobo. For hosting me and my family. A real privilege for us. TIME WELL SPENT

Outstanding first introduction to eSwatini in just 2 days
Great company that organizes outstanding tours in eSwatini with an authentic local experience in a short time. I was picked up from my hotel in CBD of Johannesburg (RSA) by Sicelo, another excellent guide, who collaborates with Myxo, an owner of the company and organizer of the tours in eSwatini, early in the morning and delivered to the country by car in about 4 hours. He assisted in all of the passport control procedures on the border and made the first part of the tour during the first day visiting Ngwenya Glass & part of Mbabane. Then Myxo took over on the next day guiding in Mbabane including the local market, Manzini, king's museum, ezulwini valley with craft shops & cultural village. Then in the afternoon Sicelo brought me back safe to Johannesburg. Thank you guys, I had a great experience and managed to see as much as possible in such a short time and enjoyed the country as well as your company.

Smooth Airport Transfers and Nice Visit to Hlane Park
Myxo organized my airport transfers and a game drive in Hlane Park. The whole trip went very smoothly and was a fair price. I didn't actually meet Myxo but he arranged things so I had the same (excellent) driver for the whole time I was in eSwatini. Overall a great experience!

      great experience
(We are a family of 4: parents and two children (around age 10-12 The visit to Swaziland was very special. Different from South Africa where we spent most of our trip. Like a time tunnel for another period. The experience was more interesting and complete thanks to the visit with Mixo in the village. Seeing an area we would never reach alone (more than half an hour on an unpaved road) meeting locals. Mixo and his brother who helps him are very nice, intelligent and explain about life and the way of thinking of in this place. i Highly recommend the experience

See the real Eswatini / Swaziland, away from the tourist areas
My visit to Eswatini would not have been complete without taking a day trip with Woza Nawe Cultural tours. This is the best way to step away from the tourist areas and meet real Swazi people and learn about traditional as well as modern day Swazi culture. The day started when we met our guide, Cicelo (Sorry I’m sure I’m spelling his name wrong), at Manzini central market, which was a busy local market that was interesting to walk around. There were different areas where people sold vegetables, cooked food, shoes, bags, etc. There was also a separate building geared towards tourists where they sold wooden carvings, beaded necklaces, and other things you commonly see in tourist shops. From there we took a long bumpy ride up a mountain to the village of Kaphunga and eventually made our way to Bobo’s homestead. We had a chance to look around while Bobo started cooking lunch with some ingredients that Cicelo had picked up at Manzini market. They also had a big bottle of water for us which was nice since it was a hot day. Then we walked over to a nearby school and had a chance to meet the teachers and students and look around the classroom. The students were on lunch break/recess so the school yard was very lively with kids running and playing and looking at us curiously. Two curious little boys were staring at us so I asked them if they knew how to make funny faces and made a funny face. They started laughing and ran away. Kids are the same everywhere. The school is in need of repairs after the recent cyclones. We gave a little bit of money but hadn’t anticipated this so didn’t really have much cash on us. If you’re taking this tour and are able to help, I’m sure they’ll always appreciate money (which you can give to Bobo and he’ll keep records of) or ask if there are any particular supplies or books the school might need. The school seems to have good desks, kids have decent backpacks and notebooks, etc, I think the main problem is the need for money for structural repairs after the storm. After touring the school we took the short walk back to Bobo’s homestead. We went inside one of the huts which was cool inside and a relief from the heat. We sat on mats and Cicelo taught us about traditional Swazi culture, the structure of homesteads and the purpose of the different huts, marriage practices, the importance of cows, and many other things. After that Bobo was finishing his cooking and we had a great lunch of cabbage, beans, pap, and chicken. The cabbage was especially great and I asked him how he made it - then I made it once I got home. Mine wasn’t quite as good but I’ll try again. Finally, we walked down the road to Bobo’s neighbors homestead and met the grandmother, grandfather, and 4 young kids who lived there. We shook hands with all of them and even the youngest, who may’ve been barely 2, smiled happily and shook our hands. It was hard to talk with the language barrier but Bobo translated some basic conversations. It would have been so nice to get to know them a little better and but it’s always hard to break the ice with anyone you just meet, especially when you speak different languages. They were welcoming though - this was probably the best part of the tour - this is just a real Swazi family at their private home, not any show for tourists. My father said that talking with the grandfather was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Africa - two grandfathers with very different lifestyles, but a lot in common as well. I’m glad we got to meet them and only wish we could have talked more and gotten to know them better. Overall, I would recommend Woza Nawe cultural tours for any visitors to Eswatini. I don’t feel like I would’ve truly seen Eswatini had I not taken this tour. The tourist places like Swazi Candles and Mantenga Cultural center are nice - but if you want to really see Eswatini then this is the tour to take.

      Great experience in eswatini
Myxo and his crew made my trip to eswatini unforgettable. Myxo arranged transfer from joburg and even made it possible to attend the birthday celebration of the King. Which was a great experience. I highly recommend this trip cause it really gives close impression of the history and culture and nature of eswatini. With this tour you cover everything - wild animals and mountains and villages and markets .... Staying at different places like the village to the guesthouse in Mbabane was very well organized and safe and easy to travel. Thanks for everything
