The tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, we learnt so much about Mayan history while exploring the ruins. The lunch was provided and tasty. The stop off at the pools on the way back was beautiful and refreshing. The tour was exactly as described.

Couldn’t recommend this tour more! It was an amazing day long activity! Giselle was our amazing tour guide. She gave a thorough history overview of all of the sites we visited.

WARNING: You do drive about 2.5 hours on a dirt road.

We had a great day with Giselle and James! Giselle was very knowledgeable and James’ driving was faultless over rough terrain. Lunch was delicious. A great mix of history and swimming in the Rio Frio. A very professionally organised tour! Thank you!

Gisele was a phenomenal tour guide! We loved every place we visited! Karim was a great driver and also made the best Belizean lunch we had! The Rio Frio Cave is magnificent! Caracol has the tallest ruin in Belize and you can climb to the top (not for the faint of heart)! And the pools we such a fun way to relax but also explore some scenery. Overall we had an amazing time! Note: The road in the Mountain Pine Forest is EXTREMELY rough and bumpy. We were able to handle it as everyone in our group was young and malleable. However, if you are older, or have medical conditions/back problems, this might not be the tour for you unless you want to be sore for days after.

Gisele was such an amazing Tour Guide. She related to the group we were with and made the long bumpy ride very enjoyable and fun. We saw a lot of wildlife on the drive, and Caracol was one of the highlights of our entire trip. This is not one to miss if you are visiting Belize! The other tour guides were so helpful and knowledgeable.

Our guide, Anselmo, Was marvelously knowledgeable and made our tour to caracol extremely enjoyable. Long bumpy ride, but Caracol is fascinating, and amazing lunch! The stop at Rio Frio cave was also worthwhile. Swimming in Rio on Pools was the perfect refreshing experience on the way back.

Fantastic experience with Anselmo - whose knowledge of and enthusiasm for all things Mayan really accentuated the experience. This is a fantastic tour, and the history, architecture, and jungle surroundings (complete with howler monkey screeches) all add up to an unforgettable day. Caracol is truly awe-inspiring, but do beware of the drive there - bone-shaking in the extreme! ;)

Also, the Rio Frio cave and the Rio On pools are the perfect way to cool off after Caracol. A fun and unique glimpse of more of Belize, and we were lucky enough to see scarlet macaws on our way back!
