Overview
Avoid hours of walking between Washington DC’s monuments and memorials by taking this stress-free Segway tour. After a short operating lesson, follow a guide to more than 25 major landmarks, including the White House, Capitol Building, and Lincoln Memorial. Within just a few hours, you’ll have a basic understanding of the city’s layout, with plenty of time left over to explore further on your own.
What to Expect
Half an hour before the tour’s scheduled departure time, meet the group for a Segway lesson. Getting the hang of it won’t take long with one-on-one instruction.

Start on a high note at the White House, an icon of American government. Your guide provides entertaining historical background and little-known anecdotes about each point of interest. No need to be at the head of the pack—personal headsets ensure everyone is able to hear the guide clearly throughout the tour.

From the White House, continue on to 25 famous landmarks, including the Lincoln and Washington Memorials, WWII Memorial, US Capitol Building, and FBI Building. Quick and easy Segway travel leaves ample time for photo ops!

After a couple hours, the tour concludes back at the departure location. Leave with a new perspective on America’s capital and with plenty of time left in your day.

Best way to see DC

Our group had an amazing tour. One word of advice, do not walk to the White House, follow the instructions to the actual location, it's a bit confusing, they say across the street from the White House which we assumed was the area to sign...More

Virtually anyone can ride a Segway!

Riding a Segway was a bucket list item for me; seeing Washington DC's monuments and memorials - at dusk and after dark - close-up on a Segway was amazing. No need to get on/off bus or take pictures from the street through dirty bus windows....More

Save your legs and see the monuments

Very easy to learn and ride these segways. Charlie's humor was just right while filling out ears with cool facts about each monument. A very efficient way to see all of the National Mall.

Yes. Everyone receives headsets that have adjustable volume. So you should be able to hear the directions and history of the guides with no problem

Yes, head sets are provided; however, it is a single ear peice. This is required so you can also hear the traffic and pedestrians around you. I'd recommend calling them. They are very helpful.
