Overview
Explore the Potomac River on this weekday or weekend lunch buffet cruise. Leave the hassles of driving, navigating public transportation, and waiting in line behind and see Washington D.C.’s famous landmarks from the water. Enjoy your captain’s narration as you pass by the Washington Monument, Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and other major D.C. sights.
What to Expect

Arrive up to one hour before your departure time at Pier 4, Washington D.C.

Once on board, spend a leisurely afternoon cruising the Potomac River, while enjoying your meal (see Itinerary for sample menu). Alcoholic drinks can be purchased (own expense). Choose from the Spirit of Washington’s three interior dining rooms or venture up to the outdoor deck for fresh air and great views of the city’s monuments, museums, and other major sights.

As you meander down the river and take in city views from the water, listen to your captain’s descriptions of historic landmarks, or take a turn on the dance floor where a DJ spins Top 40 hits.

Your boat returns you to the departure point at the end of the cruise.

Just a Boat Ride

The tour was okay, but it was just a boat ride. The buffet was not to my liking. I'm sure some will like that kind of food. But it was too greasy for me and there was not enough greens.

Mother's Day Brunch

This was a great choice for celebrating mother's day. We arrived about 45 minutes before boarding and had to park almost 3 blocks away. So come at least an hour early. The meal was excellent. Just know that drinks are not included in your ticket...More
