Itinerary
Meet at Deak Ferenc Square in central Budapest, where you’ll listen to a safety briefing. Get set up with a bike and helmet, and then pedal off through the city, taking cycling lanes and flat terrain to ensure a leisurely experience.

Listen to guide commentary as you pass highlights including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Andrassy Avenue, the Opera House, Heroes’ Square, and Vajdahunyad Castle in the City Park. A small group means you can ask your guide plenty of questions as you visit the Szechenyi Baths and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Pedal across the Chain Bridge and gaze out over the Parliament Building.

Next up is the UNESCO-listed Buda Castle District and Matthias Church—snap some photos in front of the Royal Palace while your guide sheds light on the political and historical importance of the area.

Finish up with a traditional Hungarian goulash lunch before returning to your original departure point.

Attended this on my own. Was a group of 14 but Bridget (unsure of spelling) kept everyone together well. Covered so many sights and she was very knowledgable about each. Wouldn’t say this was the perfect tour, but for the price, deserves 5 stars. Had...More

The tour took about 5 hours including lunch. Lots of stops on the way, it was very gentle. I'm not an experienced cyclist but loved it.
