About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- r0isel0 contributionsAuschwitz-Birkenau and salt mines tourAmazing tour, both Auschwitz-Birkenau and the salt mines were absolutely spectacular with the guides Aga (Auschwitz-Birkenau) and Renata (salt mines) giving loads of information and helping us to make the most out of our experience. Brilliant package deal would definitely recommend! Special shoutout to our driver Jabba who got us there safe and sound as well as having good tunes playing on the radio ;)Written 16 September 2024
- Q9232DTnicoles0 contributionsA great time!Michał was a great tour guide! He made sure we got where we needed to be safely and told stories and started engaging conversations to make sure we weren’t bored on the drive to and from the museums.Written 15 September 2024

- EmmaB38610 contributionsExcellentWe had a fantastic tour and support from our driver, tours were busy on the day we went , we left earlier than planned to get tickets at the entrance. Our driver got us booked into a 9 am tour. Having a 45 min wait he took us to a nearby McDonald’s. Which was much appreciated having been up too early to get breakfast. The guide and tour itself were very good and informative.Written 14 September 2024

- O4416DFfredb0 contributionsSalt mine and AuschwitzToured Wielecka Salt Mines and Auschwitz-Birkenau camps which was heavy going doing both in one day, but both well worth it. Our driver Piotr, picked us up at 8:20 a.m on the dot and dropped us off at @ 8 in the evening which is a long day for him too, however he was extremely helpful getting us as close to our destinations as possible to reduce walking time. Can't praise him highly enough. If you book with Legendary Krakow ask for Piotr !!Written 13 September 2024
- Hairylemon500 contributionsThe kracow experienceWiktor, was our driver, who arrived at the pick up location as arranged. He was very courteous to the people who he was picking up and couldn,t do anymore for his customers. He safely drove us to the salt mines and organised our tickets and informed us of details of the location and times of our pickup point. Salt mines were amazing. I would highly recommend a visit to this amazing place. We then visited Auschwitz & Bergenau prison camps. Whilst we found this interesting, it was very sad to hear in detail what happened in these death camps from our very informative guide, who was brilliant. Overall we had a great time in Kracow and the people couldn,t be more helpful. Cant wait to go back..Written 10 September 2024

- Paradise133647195750 contributionsNature at its bestVery good experience. Thomas, our driver, was on time, courteous, and a very nice gentleman. Trek to the lake was wonderful, with a paved path and forest and mountains all around. It took us 5 hours to go and get back with an hour at the lake. Must do if you enjoy 16 km treks and want to explore nature. Lake surrounded by the mountain was amazing. Zakopane is a small town, with buzzing tourists. Overall a very enjoyable day.Written 10 September 2024

An absolute memorable experience! I will always remember what I saw, read, and heard on this tour. I had read about the tours being rushed, and...they were right. I actually fell behind many times just so I could read the captions on some photos and displays. Going into the gas chamber and incinerators, I really wanted to stop and reflect on what took place here, but no. We walked through like we were browsing the cereal aisle at the supermarket. So I actually went back and took 3-4 minutes to reflect by myself. On three occasions, I got separated from my group solely because I wanted to read or look at a photo or display. I joked with my friends...they're doing this tour like we're on rollerblades.
I wish we could have gone slower. My impression of our guide Monica (who was very informative and knowledgeable) and other guides was that this was their job and the sooner they were finished giving the tour, the sooner they would be done working. If only they realized we had traveled so far and long to see this historic site. For us, it's not a job, but a life-changing experience.

We booked this through the Get your guide app before our trip to Krakow and this was the company that arrived to take us to Auschwitz-Birkenau. The driver Wojtek, arrived slightly early at our apartments and was very friendly. The transport was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Wojtek looked after all of us on the trip very well, and made sure we knew meeting points etc. It was very well organised and I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of going here. Also if you are worried about going to Krakow at the moment due to the war in Ukraine, please don't be worried as it is not affecting the city. Every tour etc were keen for people to know this as tourists are not going in the same numbers, and they are trying to return to normal folllowing Covid. You will have a lovely time.

Our driver (Maurice) was punctual in collecting us from our hotel and driving to Auschwitz very safely. Once we arrived, he ensured that all the tickets were in order and made contact with our guide. Whilst we'd struck up a good conversation with him on the drive to the Museum, things were much quieter on the way back - perhaps not surprisingly. What we'd seen and heard about from our guide was very sobering.
Our guide (Monika) was excellent, explaining calmly about the atrocities that took place in Auschwitz-Birkenau, and giving us time to take everything in. We never felt rushed.
It was a difficult, but important, visit to make.
Birkenau has very little shelter - in good weather consider a hat / parasol. There are a few sets of stairs to negotiate and the terrain is a bit uneven.

I booked a spanish tour. One day before they texted me to tell me that they changed the itinerary 3.5 hours later. When i asked to keep the plan, the answer was it was not possible. So I had to cancell another activity i had.
But that was no the end. They gave me a meeting point and when i arrieved it turned out that They delegate my booked to another tourist company with a cheaper service. At the end i was with a totally different company.
My service was in a big bus instead in a mini van as they advirtised. I dont have any problem with that but if you advertice a service you have to meet what you advertised actually. I looked for information about this new service and it was 40% cheaper service. I would say that the difference is because the cost of a mini van is higher than a bus and also because the hour we started the trip.
During the process i felt like i was being obligated to accept this changes because the language. They made the changes in the period of time that you can not cancell the tour, so or you accept it or you lose your money and probably you can not visit auschwitz because there is no more time.
Be aware: It looks like in Krakov there is just one company that can bring you to auschwitz in spanish so be carefull if you plan to booked with this company because it is hightly probably that you will finish the tour as i did.
By they way: they dont pick you up at the hotel, at least i my case.

Dear guest, thank you for letting us know your concerns. I understand your disappointment and frustration that the experience did not meet your expectations. I also appreciate that Spanish guides are limited, starting times are less flexible, and sometimes we collaborate with other tour providers. We inform guests in the tour details and description that the departure time can change by even a few hours. We also state that we will relay the departure time the day before the tour.
However, I believe there has been a misunderstanding. The tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial we offer has many options, including hotel pickup or starting from a meeting point. The type of service depends on the option you choose. In all fairness, we do not advertise a minivan tour. Our company uses minivans for private tours and sometimes hotel pickup services. Otherwise, the size of the vehicle may vary according to the size of the group.
We are sorry you felt you could not resolve this by getting in touch with our office. We kindly urge you to contact us directly for a solution.
It may not always be possible, but we do our best to offer a refund or an alternative without added costs. It all depends on the length of your visit and the available options.

The trip was brilliant and the tour guide Victor was very knowledgeable of the area and the history.
He took us to Auschwitz where we had free reign to visit most areas of the camp that still stands today as a reminder of the horrors of the past. He also was kind enough to drive us past the Birkenau camp as although we had this paid for on our trip to visit, we did not make it there in time as we was so focused on all the detailed history recorded at the first camp. He then also took us to see one of the old rail carts that was used to transport the people into Auschwitz and Birkenau at the very end of our trip before returning us back to Krakow safely.
Thorough enjoyed the tour by this tour operator and would highly recommend to other tourists thinking of going on this emotional and perspective setting excursion.

We thought this experience was brilliant.
You do need to be able to be mobile and move quite quickly. I have a mobility problem and walk with a stick. I found it difficult from the start and found it near impossible to keep up with the guide. The headsets were ok, but if the guide went to far ahead it broke up. I missed some of the commentary as I trailed behind at the second camp, the headsets were only used at the first camp.
The terrain was very rough and lots of steps to navigate. You do need to be quite fit, which I’m not, to complete the tour. The weather was also a hindrance as it rained all day. I wear glasses and they kept steaming up when I had to put my mask on!
The sites were very moving and will stay with me forever. Worth a visit if you can.

Everything about this trip was unbelievable
Purchasing was easy, communication was brilliant and that was before we’d even experienced the trip
Our driver Janek was incredible. He was knowledgeable and informative. The van was clean and modern and we had plenty of time at both sites and the salt mines
Would highly recommend for anyone thinking about booking

Mar 2024 • Friends
On March 17, we were on an organized tour of Auschwitz. It was very poorly organized. let's start with the fact that we booked a 10:00 AM appointment in the morning. Before the day of the event, in less then 24 hours, they sent a message at 4:00 PM that the time had changed to 2:00 PM. We accepted the appointment, because we had no other choice, but I don't know how anyone with a flight schedule would be able to adapt. Of course, no refund was given. The tourist guide arrived late. Many tourists were late and we had to wait. We hardly heard anything during the tour, because there was no audio guide, which was promised when booking. The groups got along, you couldn't hear anything from other tourist guide, nor from the tourist groups as they left. He finished the whole tour very quickly, another lady kept urging him. There was hardly any time for anything, just a rush. They didn't say anything about the individual parts, they just led us through in front of it. He never waited for the whole team to get there, he started talking. Unfortunately, it was not worth the money. I've been once before, it was a much better tour, the museum's own. I dont recommend it to anyone.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you experienced during your tour. Unfortunately, your visit coincided with a period when the Museum was undergoing modernisation efforts, specifically updating the supplier for the guided tour equipment, including microphones and headphones. This transition period lasted several days.
Due to the absence of these essential headsets, many of the guides refused to conduct the tours. Given the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum's strict policy that visitors must be accompanied by an official guide, this resulted in the unexpected change of your tour's time.
We were notified about these modernisation efforts at the very last moment, leaving us with no viable alternatives to offer. We deeply regret the impact this had on your visit. Please understand that under these circumstances, our options were severely limited.

I originally booked the tour for 08:30AM on their website and got a confirmation for the time and hotel pick up. The day before it started, I got another message from them, telling me that the pick up location had changed and that I should meet them at the Matejki Square, as it was more convenient for the bus to park. It was only a 5 minute walk from my hotel, so it was no problem for me. But I suddenly realized that they also changed the pick up time to 10:55AM without any warning. When I told them that I had booked the tour at 08:30AM, they simply answered that it was the only time the guide had that day. I specifically booked an early tour, as my flight back home was in the evening on the same day. I had to consistently ask them for any alternatives as I obviously didn't want to miss my flight, but they didn't seem to care at all. They finally agreed to my suggestion that the driver could drop me off somewhere in Balice (town next to the airport) after the tour. The next day I decided to get a coffee and a croissant before I went to the Matejki Square. At 10:30AM, I suddenly got a call from the seemingly annoyed driver, asking me where I was, as everybody was waiting for me. I was confused because the office clearly texted me that the pick up time was at 10:55AM. Luckily, the coffee shop was very close to the square and I arrived there a few minutes after the call. But yeah, there was a lot of miscommunication and a lack of customer service from the office.
The tour itself was still very interesting and our guide who we met in Auschwitz was very knowledgable.
