Overview
Get the most out of your visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum with this tour. Save valuable vacation time by booking your tour in advanced, and skipping the often-long entry lines. Explore the site's significant buildings with a guide by your side, ready to answer any questions about the camp's complex. Plus, there’s no need to worry about renting a car or puzzling out directions, as round-trip transport from Old Town Krakow is also included.
What to Expect

Make your way to Old Town Krakow on the morning of your tour, and meet your guide and group. Climb into an air-conditioned minivan for the ride over to Auschwitz. Provided transportation means you can easily access this UNESCO World Heritage Site without renting a car or puzzling out public transportation.

Once you arrive, proceed directly inside and skip the often-long entry lines, since you have prebooked a tour. You'll be equipped with a headset to hear your museum guide clearly as you explore the main camp, Auschwitz I, and Birkenau, where many lives were taken. In Auschwitz II-Birkenau, listen to informative commentary while stopping at the site's most significant buildings, such as the crematoria, the gas chamber, the unloading ramp, and the barracks.

Upon the completion of this Auschwitz-Birkenau tour, return to Krakow for drop-off back in Old Town.

So Sad but Educational

Words can never express the sadness and shame you see when visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. You learn of so much that happened there but was never shared during my educational days. Everyone needs to remember and see it so we do not repeat...More

Auschwitz Visit

Very much an eye opener. The guide we had explained everything in detail and answered any questions. Hard to believe what went on at this place. Glad I went to see it.

Emotional and educational

Such a great place! Instructive history lesson with lot of feelings about our cruel world. It's near Cracow, so ride wasn't long, our driver Miki was very proffesional, he arrived just on time. I sincerely recommend this company.

There is a snack bar/cafe on both sites. Bottled water was provided by our minibus driver.

We had about 20m but this wasn't enough for me - it was time to have a toilet break and a nip to the bookshop and a drink in the shop. You may need time just to sit in the car park and absorb what you have just seen as well.
