What to Expect
For this guided tour of Auschwitz, you can either choose to be picked up at your hotel or Szczepanski Square in Krakow. On the journey over to Oświęcim, watch a documentary film about the Holocaust.

Once you arrive at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, your guide takes you through the grounds of Auschwitz I. See the original roads, watchtowers, and railway ramps before going into exhibits and learning even more about the struggle of former prisoners.

After, follow your guide to Birkenau (Auschwitz II), and see some of the original fences, crematoriums, and gas chambers here.

Your tour ends with a drive back to Krakow, where you’ll be dropped off in the city’s center.

An incredibly emotional visit. I urge anyone to go visit if you get the chance. A chilling experience but one that will stay with you forever.
