Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Park Day Trip from Prague
US$173,61
Overview
Unless you rent a car, exploring the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Parks from Prague in a day is difficult, with travel connections and walking routes to navigate once there. This guided trip makes it easy, letting you focus on the scenery. Visit the Bastei bridge and Pravcicka Gate, and cruise along the Kamenice Gorge, all with a guide to commentate on the sights. Lunch and entrance fees are included.
What to Expect
After pickup from your central Prague hotel, board an air-conditioned minivan and journey north to the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Parks—two reserves divided by the Czech-German border. Bring a coat and sturdy shoes as there is a good amount of walking involved.

Venture into Germany’s Saxon Switzerland and visit Bastei, a cluster of sandstone pinnacles linked by a stone bridge high above the River Elbe. Walk on the bridge for bird’s-eye views over the Elbe valley before driving to the Pravcicka Gate in Bohemian Switzerland, situated on the Czech side of the border.

Hike to the gate, Europe’s biggest natural rock arch and admire its scale before continuing to Kamenice Gorge. Here, enjoy a boat trip through a narrow canyon, passing steep cliffs and wildlife-filled forests.

Finally, return to Prague, stopping at the pretty town of Hrensko on route, before your tour ends at your hotel.

Hey Mukta Unfortunately no alternate option than trekking to see the entire trail and that’s definitely not for elderly parents who are looking for knee surgery;the option can be waiting at the base of the trekking points... More
