Whitehaven Beach: Barbecue, Hill Inlet Lookout Bushwalk, Snorkeling
From US$140,17
Overview
Get good value for your time and money on this full-day trip to Whitehaven Beach. Take advantage of nearly everything Whitehaven has to offer: have an Aussie BBQ on the beach, take a bush walk, swim and snorkel, and ride a glass-bottomed-boat. Plus, the tour includes round-trip transportation from your Airlie Beach hotel.
What to Expect
Start your morning by making your way to Abell Point Marina, or with a pickup from your hotel in Airlie Beach.

At the marina, board the Whitehaven Xpress and head out past the Whitsunday Passage toward the islands. Cruise the length of Whitehaven Beach and the head ashore there on a dinghy with a small glass bottom. Stop at the beach for an Aussie BBQ using the public picnic areas.
Take advantage of free time to explore or relax on the beautiful white-sand beach, and then move on to the activities of the day.

Visit Hill Inlet Lookout via Tongue Bay for a guided National Park bushwalk, and then snorkel over coral in a protected Green Zone area. Keep an eye out for sea turtles, clown fish, and rays.

Cruise around the water on a dinghy if you’d like, and see sea life from its glass bottom.

Once the day’s activities are done, get back aboard the Express, and finish your tour with a trip back to Abell Point or your hotel.

I wouldn’t have thought so. There were older people on our boat. The walks are not too bad and the snorkeling is optional. I would say if they are fit and healthy they would have no issues with this trip. Maybe give them a... More
