Take a day and head to the reef. It’s a bit of a ride out but it’s worth it. Staff are helpful and entertaining. Diving was great with plenty to see and great visibility. Lunch is simple but does the trick. We got more snacks on the way home, fruit, biscuits, cheese and

Hi Ros, Thank you for your time in writing a review regarding the incident that occurred on the trip. It is extremely upsetting that the incident happened but we are all very pleased that your friend is doing well. The managing director of the company has been in contact with her directly and been kept up to date regarding her recovery. She has been advised that she is welcome to join us at any time in the near future at no charge. I would like to advise you that your friend and yourself both insisted she did not require any medical oxygen at all but this was highly recommended by our staff and the qualified doctors on board, considering she inhaled water. The oxygen was flowing at a steady rate of 25 liters/minute even with a leakage on the regulator. This flow rate is sufficient given the type of incident. It was due to the skippers discretion that she was evacuated by helicopter as per general policies. In any emergency, it is common procedure that our staff will hand over the care when there is a more experienced or qualified person on board. This is their duty of care. In this particular case, we had multiple doctors and nurses on board. At no time was our vessel out of radio range. The AMSA requirements for our class of operation is to have a VHF and HF/MF radio. We have 2 VHF radios and a HF/MF radio on board that are functioning. In the event of a medical emergency, we prefer to have private communication direct with medical support on shore. For this purpose we have a mobile phone. At times the signal is not consistent so we installed a Telstra booster which had resolved the issue. At time of the incident, the Telstra system was not working yet it worked satisfactorily prior and after the incident. The skipper contacted the right authorities through our VHF radio system. I do want to apologize that the managing director has not spoken to you regarding the incident but directly with your friend instead. As offered to all customers who's snorkel/dive trip was also cut short, you are welcome to join a future trip free of charge. Unfortunately, our terms and conditions outline company policies regarding that no refunds are given on trips that are cut short due to medical emergencies. Kind regards, Adrenalin Dive

I went out to snorkel while my wife did a refresher diving course. We both had a fantastic day. The crew were very knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge and enthusiasm. The snorkeling was great. My wife had a great time and appreciated the chance to dive again
