Awesome afternoon!
Jan 2020 • Family
What an awesome way to spend an afternoon virtually in our own backyard. The creek was so beautiful & clear & a great place to be on a hot day. Our host Paul was super friendly & everything was well run & organised. The cold ice block at the end of our trip was much appreciated. Will definitely do this again.

Excellent day on the creek!
What a great activity! Paul is super friendly and gave clear instructions. The equipment is in excellent condition. He sent us on our way down Babinda Creek which was crystal clear. We had a ball navigating round a few obstacles and some small rapids. All fun! We had a double kayak and got “stuck” more than the singles but nothing didn’t easily deal with. There was 1 person on the kayak. They kneeled and stood depending on the water flow. There were 10 year olds in their own kayaks and they enjoyed it. We could stop at any of the sandy beaches along the 9km route for a paddle, float and a snack. The creek water is cool & crystal clear with a clean sandy creek bed. Highly recommend this activity with Babinda Kayaks & SUP! 💕

Fantastic way to fill a day
Nov 2019
What a fantastic day we had with Babinda kayaking. Called Paul to let him know we were on the way. As soon as we got there we were greeted by Paul, A very funny guy , ran through the safety and kayaking details. we did the full day option , make sure you take plenty of water and a picnic is advisable . pull up and enjoy the serenity and have a great day. Plenty to see . paul picked us up at the end, we helped get thekayaks back on the trailer and he retutrned us to our vehicles. I would recommend this activity to every age group . great work Paul.

What a great days activity
Jul 2019
Called Paul on the way through to Cairns from Hervey Bay. He had room in the afternoon paddle for the 3 of us. From start to finish it was so easy and enjoyable. You could almost drift down to the bridge where he picks you up. Big fish and turtles to see in the crystal clear water. Took our phones in waterproof sealed bags for photos. Thanks Paul, see you next year.

Great Day Out
Nov 2019 • Friends
This was amazing - the surroundings were beautiful. Not much rain so there were a few little challenges but we managed it. Very proud of ourselves - group middle aged women.

Fantastic fun-filled day out!
Sep 2019 • Couples
I took my mum here for the last day of her visit to Cairns and she said it was the best day of her holiday! The scenery and water is beautiful, lots of relaxing paddling and lovely mountain backdrop, interspersed with the odd adventure of navigating logs and the causeway when the water is low! Don't let the low water levels put you off this time of year, we still had a fantastic day out and would recommend Babinda Kayaking to anyone of any age (my mum is her in 60s and managed just fine) at any time of the year. The owner Paul was so friendly and helpful, and we will definitely be returning.

Best experience around Cairns
Sep 2019
I did the half day kayak with my girlfriend. We live locally and this is probably the best 'touristy' thing we have done around Cairns. Paul is a legend who is very laid back and welcoming. Will definitely be back, thanks Paul.

Absolutely incredible experience
Aug 2019 • Couples
This was an absolute dream of an afternoon. The section of river is so stunning - shallow and clear waters and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The length of the trip is perfect - enough time to enjoy kayaking, floating and hanging on the beaches. My partner and I are big outdoors people and this fully satisfied our desires but would also be suitable for those who are not as outdoorsy. Paul is the biggest legend and gave us great recommendations for other things to do. Excellent value for money - and that’s coming from young travellers on a budget! Take a picnic with you!
