Overview
Travel easily between some of Oslo's best attractions on this half-day tour. Traveling by coach, get insight into the history and culture of Norway's capital and visit Frogner Park, home to the sculptures of Gustav Vigeland; the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, the Viking Ship Museum, and your choice of either the Fram or Kon-Tiki Museum. Entrance fees are includes and your tour departs and returns to a central Oslo location.
What to Expect
At the arranged time, meet your guide in downtown Oslo. Board the comfortable coach and head toward your first stop. As you travel, listen as your guide provides insights to each of your destinations and the Norwegian capital as a whole.

First stop is Frogner Park, home to a large collection of bronze and granite works by the Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland, as well as a popular spot for locals to hang out on sunny days. Next, continue on to the intimidatingly high Holmenkollen Ski Jump, made famous during the 1952 Winter Olympics.

Continue on to the Bygdøy Peninsula, a mainly residential area that is home to several museums. you have the choice of visiting either the Fram Museum, which tells the story of Norwegian polar exploration, or the Kon-Tiki Museum, dedicated to Kon-Tiki expidition across the Pacific Ocean.

Your tour continues with a visit to the Viking Ship Museum before returning to the original departure point.

Worthwhile way to cover major sites in short time

Pros: (1) convenience and cost: Holmenkollen Ski Jump, Vigeland Park, the ship museums are in 3 different parts of town: would have been very costly and time-consuming to visit on your own unless you have a lot of time. This tour covers them in 5...More
