Awful
Awful.
The crew didn't give a damn.
We didn't stop in a lagoon, it was near one but just in the sea.
We got off at Gozo and made our own way back.

Great day out worth the money !
Very nice crew and boat- the trip was definitely worth it for the price. The best part was the last bit where we visited the blue lagoon.

For the city Gozo part definitely plan ahead where you will go.The crew offers 5 euro bus ride to the two cities.

If you get sea sick( I do ) it’s still possible - just stay at the bottom of the ship and don’t stand while it’s moving!

Thank you crew :)

So much to see and so much history
Oct 2020
So much to see and do both on land or on a boat trip. Favourites are the harbour cruise and the trip on the bus to the ferry going to Gozo. Hop on Hop off good way to see a lot and where you want to spend more time.

Great experience onboard of Triton ship!
Oct 2019
You can have a all-inclusive offer for 2€ more on bigger overcrowded ships but Triton is way better! And yes you'll have the slide to the sea and there is a bar on board with reasonable prices so you'll have a great time on your way to Blue & Crystal Lagoon & Gozo!
Definitely recommend this ship!

TRITON "Gozo, Comino & Blue lagoon"
Sep 2019 • Friends
Been reading various reviews saying 'stay away' & 'waste of time & money' but I'm sure people are talking about the wrong boat service. Let's get it clear I'm talking about the TRITON.. I saw other boats packed like sardines & unhappy passengers but NOT this one. We had so much fun we went twice! Firstly we chose Victoria in Gozo then secondly we stayed on Camino. Too crowded at the Blue lagoon & too many jellyfish but have a look round the island & a good time awaits. ☆☆☆☆☆

Wonderful day on the boat
The Triton is a great boat with tons of facilities. Using the slide was a lot of fun! I especially loved the visit to Crystal Lagoon, where we had the opportunity to swim. Most other companies do not stop there, but Triton does. Would definitely recommend this day trip.

Busy & Cramped!
Booked this tour in advance of our trip (initially opted for this tour due to the lower capacity of the boat compared to other similar tours). Upon arrival (we arrived 45 mins before departure) the boat was already so busy. Online there is no boarding time, so people were getting there VERY early (even if they hadn’t booked, were still able to board!). It took a while to get everyone on board, and it was quite cramped and uncomfortable. Disappointing that we’d opted to pay extra for a “smaller” boat, and this is what we’d ended up with.

When docking at the crystal lagoon, it was very unorganised, people rushing passed to get to the back of the boat etc. No option of life jackets if you’re not comfortable jumping in/being in deep water. If you do choose this tour, just grab a life jacket from the top yourself!

Upon arriving at Gozo, very unorganised and shouty staff asking if you’re going to the Xlendi beach or to Victoria as there were 2 options. Got shoved onto a hot and cramped mini-bus. The tour says you’re allowed 3 hours in Gozo - we were given 1hr 45 mins! This is nowhere near enough time to grab some food, visit the Cittadella and explore other parts of Gozo.

In hindsight, would have explored Gozo ourselves (family of 6 adults) and booked a private boat to visit the Blue and Crystal Lagoons.

Recommend just taking the public ferry line direct from Malta to Gozo (5Euro per person for a return journey, and they depart every 45 mins).

Triton day trip Crystal and Blue Lagoons and Gozo
Jun 2019 • Family
We booked the Triton from a shop. There are 2 options, one with and one without the trip to Gozo. The boat was packed. We chose the option to go to Gozo for the price of 25 euros per person . As soon as you board the boat and check in, they ask if you want to to do the bus tour of Gozo for 5 euros/person. As soon as everyone is checked in they announce a speedboat trip IN to the caves at the Blue Lagoon for 10 euros/person. There is food and drink available for purchase on the boat and all were reasonably priced though we chose not to buy anything. They do allow customers to bring a cooler and food and drink on to the boat.
As I said, we bought our tickets from a shop. The salesman said the BOAT went in to the caves. Apparently we weren't the only ones who were surprised by the speedboat option. The boat does stop in some alcoves during both the outbound and return but we were led to believe the Triton went in to the caves and we weren't alone in that belief.
Gozo is lovely. If you want to see it, buy the bus ticket on the boat. The bus fills up quickly. There are 2 different hop on hop off buses but they're more expensive than the ones on Malta. There are 2 routes that take 45 minutes each. As we arrived the bus was leaving so we realized we wouldn't have time to finish the bus tour. We did find a lovely cove to hang out in. We walked up to the Shrine and had a nice lunch at a restaurant near the port.
My only comparison for a similar trip are ones we've done in Maui and this didn't compare. It was nice, staff was fine and informative but it was a boat ride. The salesman said the Triton would be tethered to the Sea Adventurer and we would be able to board that boat and see the sea through the glass bottom. The Sea Adventurer had much better position at the Blue Lagoon and boarding it was never mentioned. Snorkels are available to rent but i didn't see anyone rent them. We did swim at all 3 locations. The water was clear and lovely.
Overall it was okay but if we were to do another one I'd do more research and go on a smaller boat. jmo

A nice day
Jun 2019 • Family
Sun and heat and a blue, blue ocean, this had to be a nice day! And it was – thanks to
Anne-Wendy Stolk who cleared a few misunderstadnigs and took very good care of us on board. She gave us also a very good advice about what to do in Gozo. The Blue Lagoon and The Crystal Lagoon was full of boats and people, but still beautiful. With such a crew this became a very good day for us. Thanks.
