What to Expect
This Iceland snowmobile tour meets in Husafell, which is about 2 hours from Reykjavik.

Once you arrive and check in, your guide takes you on a 1-hour drive to Jaki basecamp at Langjökull Glacier. Then, get set up with all the gear you need for the day: goggles, a durable suit, and a helmet. Before you set off through the snow, listen to a safety instruction briefing.

Next, hop aboard your snowmobile and get ready to navigate the snowy landscape with a guide. Make your way to a man-made ice cave and go inside an glacier as you drive through an ice tunnel.

Your Iceland highlands tour ends back at the spot where it began.

Another bucket list item that has been ticked off!

Had a most enjoyable few hours driving a snowmobile to, from and on a glacier called Langjokull in Iceland. Not a cheap excursion but worth every penny!
