South Coast Classic Day Trip from Reykjavik with Guide and Touchscreen Audio
From US$94,64
Overview
The southern coast of Iceland is home to the Sólheimajökull Glacier, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, but seeing all of them in one day can be difficult. This tour lets you visit all the highlights of the southern coast with ease, providing a touchscreen audio guide and onboard Wi-Fi so you can stay connected and upload photos throughout the day. Plus, convenient hotel pickup and drop are included.
What to Expect

In the morning, depart from your Reykjavik hotel for your tour of Iceland’s south coast. Travel by bus with your guide to the lava fields in Hengill. From here, you can admire the Hekla Volcano, the Eyjafjalljökull Volcano and the Vestmannaeyjar Islands.

Pause to explore the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. Then continue on to Skógafoss Waterfall and access a lookout point with panoramic views.

Snap pictures of the ice fields at the Sólheimajökull Glacier. Afterwards, you can walk on the dark turf of Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. At the end of the day, the bus returns you to your hotel.

Excellent

Despite the fact it was raining, this trip was still very good. Our guide was splendid, he clearly loved his country and wanted to share with us everything he knew about it. The places covered were fabulous, though very wet. Highlights were the glacier and...More

It was just too long

It is a long day, accurate when they tell you 11 hours but it was made long by the time spent on the bus which was close to 7 hours. The weather was wet and misty which made it difficult at most of the attractions...More
