Overview
Tour Copenhagen's canals in a relaxed atmosphere with a small group of just 12 people on this 1-hour tour. This tour has no fixed itinerary and will be tailored to the group's interests, ensuring a personalized experience and the opportunity to participate in any special events or festivals. Learn about Copenhagen's history, culture, and modern life from a guide as you cruise Copenhagen's canals while sipping an included beverage.
What to Expect
If a whirlwind tour hitting all the top landmarks isn't quite your speed, then this relaxed, customizable tour is perfect for you. Step aboard a traditional canal cruiser with a personable captain to tour the canals of Copenhagen in a relaxing slow pace. Find a seat indoors or out, with blankets available to keep you warm during the colder months. As you cruise, listen to commentary from the captain and sip a glass of wine, beer, or a soft drink (traditional mulled cider or hot chocolate during the winter).

A small group of just 12 people guarantees an intimate atmosphere and plenty of time to ask questions. Get unobstructed views of some of Copenhagen top sights, which may include Christiansborg Palace, Church of Our Savior, the Royal Opera House, Amalienborg Castle, Freetown Christiania, or the Circle Bridge, according to the group's preferences.

The best boat tour, small and comfy

Whilst the hoards are boarding the large boats with plastic cinema style seating, we boarded a small, about 10 seat, boat where you sit around a central table on comfy cushioning. The ‘captain’ is the guide and is standing right with you. There are also...More

Best guided boat canal tour

Our hotel recommended this as an alternative to the large boat canal tours providing an overview of Copenhagen. We couldn't have been happier with this choice. The biggest difference (aside from the number of seats per boat) was that this tour is more of a...More

Ofelia Plads (dock) is an easy walk from the cruise ship dock. The Hey Captain boats leave from there.
