About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- World_Citizen_7890 contributionsGreat place that has everything - good food, amazing views, history and architecture. It was a perfect place to experience a bit of "old and traditional Greece". We only had a couple of hours here, as did not have enough time. But we would love to come back again and admire the view, take a stroll on the promenade, eat in one of the wonderful restaurants and generally enjoy the atmoshere.Written 27 October 2024
- adriennew8290 contributionsAptera was nice, but experience is overpriced.I was told shortly before the scheduled visit that we would not have time to do both the wine tasting and Aptera, so I chose to do Aptera. The site itself was cool, but I wasn't offered any kind of refund for the fact that I did not get to participate in the wine tasting. Then, it seems there was some misunderstanding with my driver who was clearly not happy about having to drive us back to Heraklion afterward and proceeded to drive like an absolute maniac for the entire 2+ hour drive. Far more expensive than it was worth.Written 6 October 2024

- nuhar20180 contributionsStroll & Dinner at HaniaNice little town with an old port and ruins by the sea. We strolled in the old village and bought souvenirs then ate dinner. We had to go back to our Villa 2hrs drive before dark so we didn't have time to enjoy the evening there. It's nice to stop by for a few hours or spend a day or two in it.Written 17 June 2024
- Sightsee402995032340 contributionsAmazing pink sands and cavei would have given a 5 star if not for the tour guide named Silvana. She is friendly and nice but doing her job as a tour guide she failed. She told more personal stories. She didn't explain the history or information about the places we went. She mostly told her petsonal story. As soon as we got to the shore, she took off and left our things unattended. She was also on a couple of calls. But the beach is so beautiful and so as the cave. It was an amazing to see the pink sands.Written 21 November 2023
- MarkW8530 contributionsGreat tour in CreteOur tour of Crete and Chania was very informative and fun thanks to our tour guide Stella . She allowed us to change things up and enjoy a wonderful lunch along the port in Chania . Not a lot to see in Crete but this tour with Stella was worth it .Written 22 October 2023
- Julie321590 contributionsBest Tour of our Mediterranean Cruise! Our tour and guide could not have been better! We booked a private tour for 5 of us. The driver was courteous and patient, the van was clean and comfortable, and our guide, Maria, was outstanding! She was flexible in our tour so we could spend more time at places that particularly interested us and less at others. At our invitation, she joined us for lunch and helped us select a variety of dishes that were authentically regional. The places we stopped were wonderful and Maria was knowledgeable and helpful everywhere we went. We all agreed that this was the most enjoyable tour on our Mediterranean cruise! Thank you Maria and Moysidis Travel!Written 6 July 2023
- SELarsen0 contributionsBeautiful city to explore on your ownBeautiful old city, old harbour front with many restaurants and views of the beautiful old buildings. Nice pedestrian streets with many leather, jewelry and ceramic shops. Walk further into old town and find various brand stores. Easy and inexpensive transport by bus to/from center.Written 17 October 2022
- PeterH2960 contributionsGuided tourAmazing place to visit, we had a guide who explained a great deal to us over the couple of hours we were on site. There is a toilet before the main entrance where you scan your ticket and then none once you are inside. The queue for the stone throne which was originally interpreted as king Minos throne is quite long and so if it is busy its worth going straight here (we waited around 20 minutes to see the room) This is a fascinating place to visit.Written 10 September 2022
- X7624ZFmichael0 contributionsNice small town for half day visitChania is a genuinely nice little old town, crossed by many historical influences. The old port looks nice and clean and offers a beautiful view of the city. We walk without maps and enjoy the old buildings. Loved the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter, the mosques and, of course, the old churches. Start in the morning when it is still nice and cold and finish your visit with a nice lunch at a small taverne or at one with a view in the port.Written 21 June 2022
- lindahM8169TE0 contributionsAmazing Personal Guided TourGrigorios, our guide, was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Our driver was also very friendly and punctual. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone interested in receiving an in depth look at the landscape, artifacts and history of Knossos Palace and the Minoan Culture. We toured Knossos, visited the museum and spent time in the beautiful city of Heraklion where we were able to explore cafes and shops at our leisure. I cannot say enough good things about this experience.Written 13 May 2022
- mlaurelm0 contributionsWonderful guide, beautiful sceneryWe ended up booking this private tour after a group tour operator cancelled on us - I'm glad it ended up this way! It was nice to have the flexibility and comfort of a private tour. Agnes was a great guide - lots of information about the region and wonderful stories. We did a few stops on the way to the beach - all lovely places. It was nice to see the countryside and learn some of the island's history. The beach itself? Beautiful. It was cold, so there wasn't much swimming but the time still flew by!Written 9 May 2022

- Mashka_Schmooze0 contributionsPrivate tourWe got this tour as we like to travel on our own time schedule. To stop where we want and for how long as we want. Our tour guide Genadius was very thoughtful of bringing as beach mats and umbrellas. We never even though about them. He was very flexible, fun and reliable person. Always attending when you need him but giving you your personal space at the same time. He had great humour and told us many interesting facts about Greece. We spend whole day together and I didn't get tired of him even once.Written 14 August 2020
