What to Expect
Meet a driver at your hotel in Porto for the 1.5-hour trip to the Douro Valley, pausing to stretch your legs in Peso da Régua, the capital of the Douro Valley.

Continue to Pinhão, where you'll have time to explore the beautiful village on your own, from the surrounding vineyards to the distinctive blue-and-white tile murals.

If you selected the Douro River cruise, this is where you'll board a Rabelo, a traditional cargo boat long used for Douro River transport. The hour-long ride takes you up a Tua River tributary and past Quinta da Romaneira winery, and then loops back to Pinhão.

Following your time in Pinhão, sit down to a lunch of traditional Douro cuisine paired with local wines at a valley villa, and then visit a pair of estates for tastings of award-winning ports and wines. The tour concludes with a return trip to Porto.

Great views and great tastings!

Maria our guide was amazing and made sure we enjoyed everything. Even though it was poring down with rain we enjoyed every second. Tastings of wine, olive oil and port was great - everything was beautiful. Definitely worth the money.

Yes they do. The lunch provided for both. The guide will ask you at the first stop what the lunch preferences are and will call ahead to the restaurant.
