See the sweet side of Zurich on a tour of Old Town’s finest chocolatiers, candy shops, and artisan ice cream makers. Perfect for those who want to indulge their love of Swiss chocolate, the tour includes samples aplenty and gives you the lowdown on treats from a local food writer and chocolate enthusiast.
Highlights
  • Discover Zurich’s best confectioners to shop for souvenirs or presents
  • See the sights of Zurich Old Town as you stroll between candy shops
  • Satisfy your sweet cravings with samples from generations-old producers
  • Learn about the history and production of Swiss chocolate as you explore
What to Expect
Meet your guide, a food expert from Zurich, and set off to explore the city’s sweet treats from the main square. Strolling along the cobbles of Zurich Old Town, find yourself in the history-rich heart of the city. Call in at shops to learn about Swiss chocolate and listen to fun facts about the origin of the cacao bean as you sample single-origin chocolate. Sip on a mug of freshly churned hot chocolate at one of the city’s oldest candy shops, and try a medley of treats, including nougat, cupcakes, pralines, pastries, and artisan ice cream. With your sweet tooth sated, finish the walking tour in the early evening by Zurich’s Town Hall.

We done this tour last week and had a great time. We learned all about local chocolates and the different artisan chocolate and cheese shops. We got lots of free samples. Took a long time though. Make sure to have a comfortable pair of shoes.
