Overview
Tuscany has few rivals for beautiful scenery. On this tour with hassle-free round-trip transportation from Florence, explore the region’s country roads on a Vespa. After a basic driving lesson, zip past plodding bus tours while you focus on passing vineyards, villas, and olive groves, leaving navigation to your guide. Finish with a tour of an organic farm and winery, plus a traditional Tuscan lunch and wine tasting.
What to Expect
Your tour begins mid-morning when you’re whisked away in a van from the tour shop in Florence to one of the only remaining private castles in the Chianti Rufina region. Built during the 12th century, the castle has a winery, olive farm, and fruit orchards.

Take a Vespa lesson and get ready to hit the open road. Your guide chooses an itinerary and takes you through winding hills and picturesque Tuscan countryside. Stop at vineyards, villas, and olive groves for photos while your guide shares insight into local history and culture.

Return to the castle and learn about how local wine and olive oil is made. Enjoy a traditional lunch and wine tasting with olive oil and honey made on-site. After lunch, return to Florence in time for an afternoon nap.

Amazing!

One of the highlights of my first trip to Italy, such a unique experience, an unbelievable way to see the countryside. Tuscany Cycle were great at helping a novice learn to use a Vespa and touring the countryside.

Memorable Tour!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It’s a perfect way to get a feel for Tuscany with limited time. Our guide David was awesome. We really enjoyed chatting with him on the ride there and back.

You need to also have in your possession an international drivers license. You can get one at AAA auto club. You can't drive overseas on roads without one . We had to show our State DL , Intl DL and passport .
