Enjoy a sightseeing experience on a Florence bike tour, a great way to orient yourself. Unlike tours by coach and car, this bike tour gives you access to all of Florence’s charming squares and winding streets without the hassle of parking or traffic. See highlights such as Uffizi Gallery and Brunelleschi’s Dome, and hear commentary that brings each landmark to life.

What to Expect

Begin your bike tour in central Florence, at Florencetown Tours & Newsstand in Piazza della Repubblica, where you’ll greet your guide, don a safety helmet, and saddle up on your bike.

Follow your guide past top Florence attractions such as the Uffizi Gallery, Brunelleschi’s Dome, and Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti), the former residence of the Medici dynasty. Your guide provides historical context and stories to add depth to the sights and allows time for photo ops.

Pedal past Palazzo Vecchio and across the Piazza della Signoria. Then cycle over Ponte Vecchio, with views of the Arno River. Enjoy a break and a complimentary hot drink or gelato in the Oltrarno district.

At the conclusion of your Florence tour, you’ll receive a helpful Florence guidebook full of insider tips.

Florence tour with Sara

It was both charming and enrapturing to experience a city through the eyes of a true fiorentino. Sara was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her home city, and we all came away feeling the same. Got some great gelato tips as well :D
