The tour was great and informative. We visited Academy and Dome. But it was not included climb to the top of the Dome as expected. Somewhat disappointed.
The lines for popular Florence attractions are notoriously long year-round. You won’t waste a second of your vacation on this walking tour, which includes skip-the-line entry to Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's David. As well as bypassing the often hours-long queue, you’ll take a guided walking tour that covers the Uffizi Gallery, Brunelleschi’s Dome (Duomo), Ponte Vecchio, and more. This tour is a great way to get oriented upon arrival in the Tuscan capital.
Meet your guide and group of no more than 25 at San Marco Square (Piazza San Marco) for your walking tour of Florence.
From there, you’ll head to Accademia Gallery, where you’ll bypass long lines and head inside to admire Michelangelo's iconic David sculpture.
Upon leaving Accademia Gallery, you’ll continue your walk through the city, with your guide bringing Renaissance architecture and history to life.
Gaze at Brunelleschi’s Dome (Duomo), undoubtedly the most famous structure on the Florentine skyline, and Giotto’s Bell Tower. Stroll through the medieval Palazzo Vecchio and see the exterior of the Church of Orsanmichele and the Uffizi Gallery.
The tour concludes facing the Ponte Vecchio bridge.
