Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Campanile di San Marco, Sestiere San Marco 328, 30124 Venice Italy

The meeting point is at the Campanile di San Marco.
.
Here waiting for you there will be an assistant, who will accompany you and the other participants to the station of the gondolas at the scheduled time.

Pass By: Church of Saint Mary of the Lily (Santa Maria Zobenigo), Campo Santa Maria del Giglio San Marco, 30125 San Marco, Venezia VE, Italy

--- Arrival at Stazio delle Gondole ---
.
The assistant will help you to take a seat on the gondola, and after a wish of good fun, he will entrust you in the hands of your Pope.
.
What is a Pope?
.
It is the name in dialect used by the Venetians to call the Gondolier.

Pass By: Gondola Station - Santa Maria del Giglio, Campiello Traghetto, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy

--- Let's go! ---
.
The thrill of climbing into a gondola for the first time is never forgotten ...
.
The feeling of leaving the safe land to get into a small, flaky wooden boat creates a mixture of excitement and wonder.
.
When the Gondolier "drops" the ropes and pushes himself from the poles to get away from the shore, he feels a sensation as strange as it is beautiful.
.
You feel yourself slipping on the water caressing it, and your view of the world around suddenly changes.

Pass By: Canal Grande, Venice Italy

The Grand Canal is the 3800 meter long canal that divides the city into two parts.
.
To show off the richness of the Venetian Republic, over time the Doges have built magnificent structures along the entire route.
.
He thinks that to see it all in a gondola, it would take at least two hours.
.
The Dolfin tour starts directly on the Grand Canal shortly after its starting point, and you'll see:
.
- Chiesa della Salute
- Peggy Guggenheim Museum
- Bridge of the Academy
- Palazzo Gritti
- And much more.
.
Lulled by the waves, you will feel small in front of these majestic and magnificent buildings.

Pass By: Ca 'Maria Callas, Campiello dei Calegheri, 2561, 30124 San Marco, Venezia VE, Italy

--- The hidden Venice ---
.
After having seen one of the most beautiful pieces of the Grand Canal, it's up to the minor canals.
.
Those less famous ... but very typical, picturesque, and equally rich in history.
.
The Gondolier veers the boat decisively, and introduces himself into one of these.
.
Here you will see with your own eyes, the great dexterity necessary to maneuver a gondola in very narrow spaces.
.
So tight that by reaching out, you can touch the walls of the buildings around you.
.
You will remain speechless several times during the journey ...
.
It will seem impossible that the Gondolier can do what you see it done.
.
.
You will admire many historic buildings such as:
.
- Palazzo Barbarigo Mocenigo
- Palazzo Marin
- And others.
.
.
You will pass under three small bridges, and you will try yourself how nice it is to sail in the small Venetian canals.
.
The calm and peaceful silence ... alternate with the loud shouting of the gondoliers, who, speaking in dialect, coordinate with each other.
.
There are no traffic lights in Venice ...
.
Everything still works as it used to, and it works perfectly.

Pass By: Gondola Station - Santa Maria del Giglio, Campiello Traghetto, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy

--- The return ---
.
After completing the ride in the minor canals, you will come out again on the Grand Canal for a last breathtaking show.
.
The great beauty of the Salute Church and the San Marco Basin, on your left.
.
The majestic view of the Grand Canal up to the Accademia Bridge, on your right.
.
The Gondolier makes a spectacular and complex maneuver, and takes you back to the starting point.
.
After 30 minutes, the tour is over.
.
The Gondolier helps you get off the gondola, and you can continue to enjoy Venice happy with the beautiful experience.
.
Experience that will remain etched in you forever ...
.
When you talk about Venice with friends and relatives, you can proudly say:
.
I was there in a gondola!

We waited for one hour for the man to meet us and take us on the tour. Never answered the phone, never received a call back. We contacted TripAdvisor and they refunded us the following day. Do not recommend

There are so many gondolas! It would have been way less expensive (nearly half!) and way less walking had we just walked up to a gondola stand. We met someone at the bell tower to get our tickets then walked past three gondola stands with...More

The gondolier didn’t speak to us, and made no effort to make our ride enjoyable. This is not a cheap thing to do, and it doesn’t take much to smile and be pleasant. We were supposed to have headsets, which we were not given. I...More
