Overview
Guarantee your entry into two of Venice’s star attractions on a skip-the-line tour of Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale) and St. Mark’s Basilica (Basilica of San Marco). Save hours of waiting in line as you bypass queues often in advance of two hours and head straight inside the often sold-out monuments. Discover details you may have otherwise missed, and enjoy special access to the first-floor terrace of St. Mark’s Basilica for panoramic views of Venice.
What to Expect

Greet your guide in central Venice and head straight to your first stop, St. Mark’s Basilica (Basilica de San Marco) to bypass the long lines often in excess of two hours. Inside your guide reveals hidden details and leads you to the first-floor terrace not usually open to the general public.

The next stop is Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), where skip-the-line tickets allow you to avoid waiting in line once again. Visit the opulent Hall of Great Council, home to frescoes by the likes of Veronese and Tintoretto, and discover the palace’s dark history in the Armory and New Prisons.

Your tour culminates with a walk across the Bridge of Sighs, where you bid your guide farewell.

Absolutely fantastic!

We had a guide called Elena who was brilliant. She was enthusiastic and told us so much about the sites that we could have not possibly been able to take in in such a short space of time on our own. She was patient for...More

Another terrific tour with Walks of Italy

We are always pleased with Walks of Italy, having taken their tours in Rome and Florence. Our guide Mose provided an informative and entertaining tour of St. Mark’s and Doge’s Palace. We highly recommend it!

Great, knowledgeable guide, interesting tour. I learned a lot.

I really enjoyed the terrace of the Basilica. It was great to see the square from that angle, and to view the mosaic ceilings closer. Crossing the Bridge of Sighs was very interesting.

Don't miss this tour. A must!

Guide was great. Knowledgeable, sense of humor and he made the tour delightful. Learned a lot and went back to St. Mark's day before we left.

Superb!

This is an excellent tour! We met at 8:45am across from St Marks on a absolutely beautiful Saturday morning. Our guide, Josephine, was very funny and educated us on Venetian history and culture. She was excellent at not just sharing facts, but presenting the information...More

There are two tour times - 9am and 12:30 (or thereabouts). The tour lasted almost 3 hours. I would recommend going for the morning tour as it is cooler that part of the day.

No a small hand bag is fine. I went with a bum bag but others did have a small bag. You can store a backpack and the guide will take you to where it is stored. However you need very little on this tour. Obviously it isn't so... More
