Overview
Discovering Venice in just one day is possible if you plan ahead and book this combo tour, which ensures you maximize your time. Get your bearings on a guided walking tour of Venice’s historic center, save time with skip-the-line tickets for St Mark’s Basilica, and take a sightseeing cruise along the Grand Canal. Plus, enjoy free time in between for sightseeing and souvenir shopping.
What to Expect

Meet your guide near St Mark’s Square where you learn about Venice’s history before setting out on a 2-hour walking tour.

Stop along the way to admire landmarks such as Doge’s Palace and Scuola Grande di San Marco, before arrival at St Mark’s Basilica. Using your skip-the-line ticket, head inside to marvel at the magnificent cathedral.

Follow your guide through the quiet backstreets of Venice and stroll along the scenic canals. Admire the gothic palazzos around Campo Santa Maria Formosa and pose for photos on the Rialto Bridge, before bidding your guide, who provides boat tour meetup info, farewell.

Between your walking tour and boat cruise, enjoy free time to discover Venice independently.

Make your way to the pier for your cruise and take a water taxi for a sightseeing tour. Set sail along the Grand Canal and enjoy views of Venice from the water from its canals.

Your tour ends back at the pier.

Walking component was very good

Our walking guide was very good. A local with a nice sense of humour and she spoke English very well. Lots of interesting facts. Boat tour was good. Although the guide was perhaps a little less personable. Both were interesting tours, especially for those unfamiliar...More

Took the Venice in one day and found it disappointing overall. Booked through Viator and there may be better ones. It was actually 3 separate tours in one. We found it disjointed and long. First 2 hours in Doges Palace which was interesting. It was...More

We took the 11am tour and we had to meet back at 4pm for the boat so we started the boat tour just after 4, you don’t get back till just after 5. There is an earlier tour.
