Overview

Venice, Italy’s Floating City, sits on a network of 26 picturesque canals. Cars are banned on the winding, Renaissance-era streets, so you’re best off exploring by foot—or by water. This unique combination tour takes you on a guided stroll through Venice’s mythic cobbled Old City, topped off by an unforgettable gondola ride, undoubtedly the most traditional way to see the city.

What to Expect

Meet your guide at St Mark’s Square, where you’ll catch a glimpse of its world-famous basilica. Prepare for the city’s history to come alive as you learn about Venice’s past as a maritime superpower and legendary home to phenomenal Renaissance artists.

Navigating the cobbled backstreets, you’ll come face-to-face with classic landmarks like the 18th-century opera house of Teatro la Fenice, Venice’s oldest bridge, and an under-the-radar antique staircase named after a snail for its unique spiral shape. You’ll get the perfect overview of the city’s must-see sites while also venturing off-the-beaten-path.

End the tour with a one-of-a-kind view of the city from a spectacular vantage point: by boat. You’ll step into an iconic gondolaand float down Venice’s turquoise waterways, admiring the majestic palaces that line the Grand Canal.

Excellent experience with the Venice Walking Tour and Gondola Ride

Ana was a excellent local guide with a wealth of Venezia facts. My first gondola ride-- how could in be anything but excellent. I would have preferred the gondola with less than six people.

Venice Walking Tour/Gondola Ride

We had a very good/fun guide for our walking tour. The gondola ride is not what you'd expect. They put 6 people in one gondola. I think we would have enjoyed it more if we had booked it separately just for us. I enjoyed the...More

Worth it for the Gondola ride pricing

My wife and I purchased this double tour as it is cheaper doing both of these activities instead of just the Gondola Ride. The Gondola ride was about 25 minutes and there were 6 people total in our gondola. The waters were crowded and at...More

The tour guide was really informative and gave great background history about Venice. The gondola ride was a great way to end a lovely couple of hours. Highly recommend and really good value for money 👍
