Overview
Eat your way through Milan’s Brera neighborhood on a 3-hour food tour, led by a food-loving local guide! Learn about the city history and cuisine as you wander the atmospheric streets, and enjoy six different food stops for samples of local delicacies and well-known Italian treats. Traditional Milan dishes, artisan beer, and silky-smooth slices of Parma ham are among the other mouthwatering morsels you get to try along the way.
Highlights
  • A food and drink tour of Brera, Milan’s arts and gastronomy district
  • Customizable stops with tasty treats at any time of year
  • Discover local favorites you may otherwise have missed
  • Group size limited to 12 for personalized attention
What to Expect
You’ll meet your guide at a designated meeting point in Milan, where you’ll set off to explore Milan’s hip and artistic food hub on a neighborhood tour. The group size will be limited to 12 people, giving you an insider’s overview of the area and personalized attention from the local guide. Get a peek at bustling markets and discover Brera’s vibrant restaurant scene with stops to sample local specialties and traditional Italian delicacies, from mondeghili (deep-fried meatballs) and silky prosciutto to artisanal beer and craft cocktails. Dishes vary depending on the season, so you’ll be guaranteed fresh and tasty treats at any time of year. You’ll learn about the city’s evolving history, from its ancient origins and Renaissance-era canals —possibly designed by Leonard Da Vinci— to the futuristic business district of Porta Nuova. After you’ve eaten to your heart’s content, you’ll enjoy a Milan-style aperitivo at La Bicicletta, a popular arts bistro, before heading to Piazza XXV Aprile in central Milan to finish the tour.

Loved the walking tour. Excellent guide. She clearly enjoyed her job. Happy, positive person. Delicious food. I really enjoyed walking throughout Brera to explore the neighborhood. There were only four of us which made it a small personalized tour.

The visit sites were usually selected for having excellent local specialities or historical significance. Naturally in Milan I expected the same type of experience and was...More
