    Jewish Ghetto
An informative and enjoyable tour highlighting the areas where Rome is steeped in Jewish history and culture. Areas we would never have stumbled across had we been wandering independently.

Friendly evening walk in Rome with Vlada
Vlada was very friendly and helpful! We had an amazing tour with her, and learned a lot of the backstory of the places we visited, which really enhanced our experience in Rome. She has such a positive aura, which transformed our tour from a group of strangers following a guide to a group of friends discovering Rome together. I'd really recommend doing the tour with her :)

Evening walking tour in Rome - do not recommend
Wlada was our guide, she was a quiet person which is ok unless you want to be a guide :) I didn’t learn anything about Rome really, she said only a few things even though the tour lasted almost 2 hours, most of the things she said were about the hot-thermal baths which used to be in Rom( feels like it was the main topic) - really boring . I participated in many freelance guided tours in different cities but have to say this one was THE WORST, if You want to fall asleep quickly I recommend going!

    Why
Our guide was new to her field. The struggle showed. Such a shame with such a wealth of history to struggle with the presentation. She was nice enough…. To put so much emphasis on the Christian churches was unnecessary or , certainly, not made evident as to why.

    Trastevere
We enjoyed a very informative and well presented tour with Micheal during our last day in Rome. He has a great sense of humour and a deep knowledge of Rome and its people the two hour tour passed very quickly which is a mark of a great tour. Happy to recommend. P.S. the tour is described as free but the guide asks you to pay what you think it is worth which we were happy to do.

Carolina was our guide and she was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Was thorough in the tour. Loved when we stopped into the 300 year old bakery in the Jewish quarter for some yummy treats

    Informative and Engaging Walking Tour
Michael was a very animated and passionate tour guide. He not only showed our family the big tourist points (Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona), but also some smaller, equally important and impressive sites (aqueducts and the Church of Saint Ignatius). He was also very knowledgeable about the city and showed a great love for its history.

Camilla was our guide and she was fantastic. This was a pretty easy walking tour (I mean, a lot of walking but we walked at a good pace and made frequent stops and there really aren’t hills or stairs). She did a great job making sure to stop where everyone could hear and giving us all the details on the sights included in the tour as well as some things just on the way. While you could definitely do a lot on your own, having someone leading the way and explaining things was very nice and definitely worth it. We all really enjoyed this tour.

Guide was lovely, forget her name but she was Brazilian. She was very personable and informative. She had a great knowledge of Roman history. However, she did not have much patience, as at each site we stopped she almost lost the whole group. She would give information, and then of course everyone would want to take some photos, and she would just start walking. If you are not actively looking at her or notice her walking away, you will not see her leave as she doesn't do a good job at announcing or rounding up the group. When we got to the Pantheon, we actually did end up losing the group when we stopped to take some photos. The group was stopped, she gave us information, and then as expected, everyone was taking photos. Within 5 minutes, she was gone. The group wasn't too large, we were 5 out of probably 15 people, and she managed to leave us behind. I do recommend this tour, however I recommend for the guide to pay more attention to her group, have a bit more patience, and maybe have some sort of flag or umbrella so she can be easily seen. Luckily the tour was very cheap lol.

Romina was fantastic! Really told us stories behind what we were looking at, tied together elements from the first stop to the last. Ended in a beautiful piazza that I never would have gone out of my way to see, but am so please she took us there.

A very enjoyable tour visiting a number of the most famous piazza's.
The guide being a local, was highly knowledgable , entertaining , and approachable.
During the visit we were advised that the booking fee paid went directly to the website and not Freetoursrome , the guide's employer. Guides are only paid as a result of voluntary donations received from members of the tour party.
A tour to be recommended.

We had a great walking tour with Marco who was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He was also helpful in advising of where not to eat and drink. On the flip side he recommended a restaurant where I could enjoy a genuine Roman spaghetti carbonara and it was delicious. Thank you Marco.

We weren’t expecting much from the walking tour we booked for two people, as it cost less than £10 for both of us. It was fantastic! Despite his you Marco was a brilliant guide, and shared clear interesting factual information. He went at our pace and was kind and thoughtful. He showed us many beautiful sites including the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain…amazing! I would highly recommend

We had an excellent your with Michael. He did a fantastic job of bringing the city and history to life. He also took us to parts of the city that we would have never known about without his guidance (the underground aqueduct was a particular highlight). Tour was a great pace and he was enthusiastic to answer questions. Highly recommended!

We had such a great time on our walking tour with our guide Marie. It was like walking with a group of friends! Everyone was so lovely and our guide had so much information that she explained in easy to understand ways. She guided us through busy areas with ease creating a relaxing environment to enjoy the historical sights. Even though it was a bit rainy, it was no less enjoyable. Thank you!

We had three tours with Michael, including the ancient Rome and the Jewish quarter tours. Michael is a great guide - he's entertaining, knows a lot about the city and it's history and art. He's attentive to the group and has a lot of helpful tips for visitors in the city. Five stars!

Guide was friendly and keen, but unfortunately a bit inexperienced- she used notes, and the information was brief at times. Was a bit surprised the guide was from South America, not Italy/Rome.
We were also confused who the guide was at the meeting point, as she was holding a sign that said “free tour”, but we had paid a (small) fee for it already, so we assumed we were waiting for another group
