Hidden Rome Food Tour in Trastevere with Dinner and Wine
US$92,00
Overview
Exploring authentic Roman eateries outside of the tourist district in Rome can be difficult if you’re unsure where to go. A guided food tour of Rome’s historic Trastevere district will introduce you to one of the city’s best hidden food scenes. You’ll sample traditional Italian dishes at a selection of at least six restaurants in Trastevere as you move through all the courses from aperitivo to dessert.
What to Expect
Meet your guide near the Campo de' Fiori square in central Rome in the early evening. From here you’ll delve right into your guided Roman food tour with a traditional Italian 'aperitivo' meaning a glass of Italian prosecco or wine and hors d'oeuvres.

For your next course, you’ll cross the Ponte Sisto bridge into the foodie neighborhood of Trastevere where you’ll sample a variety of meats and cheese before moving onto pizza, local Italian pasta dishes, and concluding with desert.

This food tour in Rome introduces you to the traditional, multi course Italian dinner so make sure to arrive with an empty stomach so you have plenty of room to sample foods at each stop. Come prepared to walk a moderate distance from restaurant to restaurant, which will help keep the metabolism up ensuring you have the appetite for a minimum of six stops.

Your food tour of Rome ends following desert in the city center, near Largo Argentina.
