Christian was an amazing tour guide! He was very energetic and was great with including people in the tour. He took the time to learn everyone’s name and I was especially impressed how concerned he was when people strayed from the group. He took the time to find them and reunite everyone before moving on. He was also very knowledgeable about all the sites we saw and was able to answer difficult questions.

Silvia was absolutely amazing!!! ANDIAMO! Silvia was full of incredible knowledge, was full of energy and will leave you speechless! Best tour guide I had while in Rome!!

Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Positano Day Trip from Rome By City Wonders is in itself a wonder! The tour guides (Viviana and Julio) are extremely proficient in English and the transportation via autobus was very comfortable!

Our tour guide Mario was personable and did a good job keeping the group of 52 people organized. Upon arrival at Pompeii, we were broken into two groups of 26 (much more manageable) and handed off to our excellent local guide Enzo who provided insight and history of the selected sights we visited. Terrific tour! Positano was a lovely town even though it was raining off and on and we visited on the public holiday Immaculate Conception Day. Would love to return to visit the Amalfi Coast during the spring.

I only wish we had the fountain of knowledge and wonderful hospitality for even longer. There is SOOooo much to see at the Vatican but our guide did an amazing job sharing the rich history and perspectives of many of the treasures, artists, and Vatican. An unforgettable host and memories.

Feels a bit rushed. And the voice narrative could be more cogent. More time in the museums would have been nice as well. Overall worth the money if skipping line in the busy summer months but not worth it out of season like when we went in early December the line was relatively short, UNLESS this is your 1st time because the Vatican museums are so large and labyrinthe that it's recommended to have a guide especially if you're trying to squeeze it all into a single day, so still worth it overall I suppose for 1st timers.

John was an amazing host and guide, he is very knowledgeable about facts of Rome. He made the long drive to Pompeii very fun and kept us engaged.

Was unable to check this off my bucket list. My previous tour ran over by 30 minutes and it was raining so transportation was super slow. So disappointing and sad for me. Total waste of money on a tour! Never again!

Our tour guide, Louise (originally from Ireland), was fabulous. Knowledgeable, Personable, we totally lucked out with her guiding us through this maze of ancient history. Once again, a great guide makes for a great tour.

What a fantastic day! Everyone should spend the day on this trip. Pompeii is like a time lock due to the eruption of Mt. Mausivas and the Amalfi coast was a bucket list item. We even visited a lemoncello factory for free samples. We visited in December so Positano was basically closed but we found a small restaurant and had a lemoncello spritizer to celebrate our journey. Beautiful photographs and a great day trip. Vivianna was our guide for the trip and did an amazing job as we drove the coast. Bus driver was terrific and drove like a professional. Five star day.

The trip was well planned, interesting, smooth and Jonathan was a great guide. He made the trip more enjoyable! Went on a guided tour to Montepulciano, then had some free time, had lunch with wine tasting at Pulcino one of Toscany’s wineries then off to Pienza,..

This was a great trip through some key Vatican sights. Our guide was knowledgeable, informative and entertaining. We would definitely use the company again for other Vatican tours. We chose the small group option which worked really well, there were only 7 of us in our group. The meeting point was easy to find and the guide was able to avoid the massive queues at the entrance. The final stop was St Peters. You can get in for free but we’d recommend going with a guide as (1) you skip the lines and (2) there is do much inside you’d likely miss many interesting things.
