Overview
Turn your attention to St. Peter’s Basilica with one of the few Vatican tours that focuses on the church and not on the museums. With a “No-Wait Access” ticket, waste no time standing in long entry lines that are legendary around the papal enclave. Step straight inside with your guide and group and then listen to stories about the world-famous Catholic basilica as you explore.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in Vatican City and walk through St. Peter’s Square to learn about Bernini, the brains behind the baroque piazza. Hear the history behind the square’s fountains and the Egyptian obelisk, before heading inside St. Peter’s Basilica.

With your No-Wait Access ticket, avoid the long general entry line and walk straight inside the church. Learn how the basilica is thought to have been built on the site where St. Peter the Apostle was crucified, and listen to stories about the colorful architects and artists who lavished their attention on the basilica over the centuries.

Highlights of the tour include Michelangelo’s La Pieta, Bernini’s bronze Baldachin, and the tomb of Pope St. John Paul II. Bid your guide goodbye and stay on inside the basilica for as long as you like.

Thanks, Valeria for the guided tour of St. Peter's Bascilica. Your knowledge and hints and tips were much appreciated. I'm not so sure we would have known what we were looking at without your guidance. Much appreciated.

NO Wait is the way to Go!

Spend a little extra money and do the no waiting tour. Who wants to waste time in line when there is so much to see and do in Rome.

I agree with Samantha. We were offered the trip to the dome after our tour had finished.

You can get them anytime one line or even in the square. Be advised if you go outside from the tombs in the basement no entry is possible. Stay as long as you like in the church
