Priority First Early Entrance: Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums Ticket

Overview

Beat the crowds at the Sistine Chapel by entering the Vatican Museums complex an hour and 30 minutes before it opens to the public on this early access tour. Avoid the often hours-long lines and admire the Sistine Chapel in relative tranquility. Gaze upwards at Michelangelo's world-famous frescoes without bumping into other tourists. Plus, you'll be able to explore the rest of the Vatican independently once the tour concludes.

What to Expect

Your early morning experience of the Vatican begins outside of the landmark, where you’ll greet your guide and head straight inside a full hour and 30 minutes before it opens to the general public.

As you head to the Sistine Chapel, your guide provides some historical context. You'll then enjoy the space in a crowd-free environment, allowing you to gaze up at Michelangelo's world-famous frescoes without interruption. Admire Michelangelo’s iconic ceiling fresco, The Creation of Adam, and The Last Judgment, in a serene environment.

Once your time in the Sistine Chapel concludes, you’ll be free to continue exploring the Vatican Museum at your leisure. Among the highlights are the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries and Raphael’s Rooms, plus classical statues, Etruscan artifacts, and plenty of Renaissance paintings.

Breath taking

There aren't words to describe the vista of art, history and magic before you. It is a must for those with or without faith. Silence, knees, feet and shoulders covered. No photography. Just stand, breath and view ....

Worth the Splurge....

You're not going to great an in depth tour here, but you will get to enjoy this without the crazy crowds. We walked it later in the afternoon as we ended our tour with a walk of St. Peter's Basilica and we couldn't even walk....More

Worth the money to see the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica without lines

This early entry ticket certainly beats the line ups and allows you to see the Sistine chapel with only a small amount of people in there. The whole tour itself lasted 60 minutes with a good piece of it as we stood outside waiting to...More

Priority First Vatican

We cerntainly did beat the crowds, as we leanrt a little later when we redid the Sistine Chapel. I would have appreciated being told that we could join onto another group, once in the Vatican. Although we cannot fault our guide, we would have loved...More

You can eat in the Vatican after the tour, if you do the early start they are just opening when you finish. After your Sistine visit you make your way back to the start internally almost before the crowds, then you can do... More
