- 689adelc0 contributionsHighlight of our tripThis is an amazing experience. We used real Italian ingredients to make our own pizza! We absolutely loved every part of it, probably because everyone was so nice and friendly with each other.Written 15 March 2024
- R8404FOandyw0 contributionsThe right way to make pizza! This is a such a brilliant way of learning to make pizza the proper way. The instructors were friendly and helpful in showing the right things to do to make the perfect pizza. Very enjoyable and the handmade pizza was totally delicious.Written 11 March 2024

- Hayden S0 contributionsQuaint and cozy pizza making lessonThe hosts were very easy to communicate with to schedule a pickup. The process of making the pizza was very informative and fun. Not to mention it was very delicious. The olive oil tasting was a nice bonus. On top of that. The host star incredibly friendly and happy to have you there ❤️Written 10 November 2023

- lorna_jeffs0 contributionsFun to do.Great fun, bit rushed for lunch...40 euro taxi from Marina Grande as further out of town than expected. People lovely in the restaurant and we had a lift back to town saving another taxi fare!Written 26 October 2023
- jacquelinegQ7153UL0 contributionsTraditional Pizza MakingThe pizza was delicious but the overall experience was average. The ticket included transportation to and from the city center, but it failed to mention you needed to be there at a different time. We missed the ride and had to pay extra for a taxi. The instructor was very good at explaining the process but the whole experience felt rushed. At the end we had barely finished eating when they pushed us out of there.Written 25 October 2023
- carlam2810 contributionsHighly recommend!! Great experience! This was a last minute add to our vacation and we are so happy that we did!! So much fun and my husband who makes pizzas learned so much!! Luigi was so much fun and made it an unforgettable memory!! Highly suggest!Written 25 October 2023
- deedees6280 contributionsFun, but lacks educational valueWe had a really fun time at the pizza making class! Our classmates were fun and interesting, and Luiggi was entertainging. My husband liked manuevering the pizza in the oven and learning some tricks. We also saw a demonstration of making mozzerella but it was not used in our pizza class. We are not novices - we have a large outdoor wood-fired oven, make lots of pizzas, and we wanted to learn more of the authentic pizza making skill and recipes. For the pizza dough the ingredients were either pre-measured or "by look" according to Luiggi. The recipe that we were allowed to take a photo of was very cryptic, a list of ingredients with measurements in liters, kilograms, or no measurement/quantity given. I expected actual quantities for each ingredient. The recipe did not include instructions, just ingredients And I know you can adjust quantities, but a starting point is necessary with a good recipe. In the US, we don't have access to fresh yeast, and an equivalent substitute for active dry yeast would have been very helpful. We were also told we could substitute beer for some of the water and not use yeast. In trying that at home - a big fail - no rise to the dough. We also didn't get a recipe for the sauce they use, which is necessary for a great pizza, and again we took the class to learn authentic pizza recipes and skills. We had fun but it wasn't the educational experience we were looking forward to.Written 9 October 2023

- Mary T0 contributionsGreat, relaxed experience. What wonderful and beautiful experience. Both my daughter 13yrs and I love took Cook. Laura made fresh Mozzarella and we were able to taste test, along with some breads and oils made by them. We learnt alot about making the best pizza and can't wait to get home and try, using Laura's tips and tricks. It was a beautiful autumn night with great company and a very relaxed family environment. Highly recommend!!Written 30 September 2023
- mikeyfocus0 contributionsWonderful Pizza Making Class!!My wife and I had so much fun at this pizza making class today in Sorrento. We were picked up on time in town and taken up to the pizza making class in the hills of Sorrento. The staff was amazing and Luigi taught us everything that we had to know about making a pizza pie from scratch!! Luigi was funny and entertaining and we had a nice table with people from around the world! I would recommend this lovely experience to anyone and you will not be disappointed!! Many thanks to Luigi, Laura and Franco! Btw it was confirmed that pineapple should never be added to the top of a pizza pie!!🤣🤣🤣Written 19 September 2023
- Vacation638076621170 contributionsFantastic ExperienceOne of the best and most enjoyable cooking courses I have been on. All the Staff were great and so helpful. Had previously made pizza at home from scratch but quickly learned I was literally doing almost everything wrong.. We were talked through every step by our expert teacher and within less than an hour had product an amazing tasting and looking pizza that would rival the best restaurant. A great day, taught in a fun environment, would definitely recommendWritten 18 September 2023
- jenniferdO8347GM0 contributionsLoved it.Such a great time. The class was enjoyable. The wine was great and the pizza was delicious. Would highly recommend. The class went by entirely too fast and we all wanted to stay longer. Included free tiramisu.Written 17 September 2023
- AmaniJSeraj0 contributionsLovely classWatched how to make fresh mozzarella and got to taste before we started the class. Taught importance of dough, got to get stuck in with making the dough. Had a good laugh with the staff, very friendly. Variety of toppings to add to pizza and watched it cook in a couple of minutes! Sat with the rest of the group and enjoyed with a dessert. Brilliant experience would recommendWritten 7 September 2023

My husband and i came here for our honeymoon and we had an incredible experience! From getting picked up at our hotel to the cooking to the actual food it was perfection, we made sure to buy a lot of the products used. We took part in the eggplant / ravioli cooking course which was amazing. On the other side they taught a pizza course which also looked delicious! All the staff was phenomenal which was why we will make sure to return on our next trip to Italy.

We were in a party of four, on our first visit to Sorrento. To be honest the reason we chose Tirabuscio and the general cookery course was the weather forecast for the day was awful and we Googled, 'What to do on a wet day in Sorrento' and Tirabuscio cam up.
This result from Gogle should come up whenever you type in what to do in Sorrento as we all had an excellent day, and once the course started, the last thing we were doing was checking the weather.
We were collected from a Hotel and driven through some of the most narrow streets we had ever seen, luckily we were in a red Ferrari, (posing as a Fiat 500) and when deposited at the venue were warmly greeted by the proprietors.
Our table was laden with drinks and our party gradually rose to twelve, two Kiwis, two Israeli's and eight Brits.
After an interesting introduction we were shown how, and then made our own starters, followed by making Ravioli from scratch.
The time flew by as we were all having such a good time and we then went on to cook and eat what we had made.
Finally we made a dessert, Tiramasu, ending the cookery course very satisfied in both what we had learnt and how full we all were.
It was great fun and the owners must be warmly congratulated on the way the day was run.
If you are in Sorrento, come rain or shine, this cookery day is a must!

My husband and I signed up for the cooking class with little expectations, despite the positive reviews. We wanted to learn basic Italian cooking (which ingredients to use and when, type of flour, type of cheeses, etc) so that we can make something at home. We are so glad we went to this cooking class. Laura was extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable. She answered all questions we had and offered to contact her anytime with questions once we get back home. The food was beyond delicious thanks to the fresh ingredients. We ate a lot! Definitely worth it if you are visiting Sorrento!!
Thank you so much Laura (and Luigi) for your hospitality and a great experience
Ps She took photos for us (without us asking) and gave us an "official" chef certificate!!!

We were on a group trip with a travel company and this was part of the day activities. I was looking forward to seeing what this was like but didn't expect the experience to be so fun! Laura and Luigi were so welcoming and patient with all of us. We had fresh picked tomatoes and eggplant and fresh basil to cook with. Making the eggplant appetizers, caprese salad, ravioli from scratch, and tarimisu was a blast! They took pictures along the way and made sure we got them so we remember this experience. I would highly recommend! Did I mention all the wine you can drink was part of the package? Thank you Laura and Luigi!!

What a wonderful experience we had with two other couples whom we got to know. The Chef and Luigi are warm supportive hospitable and generous. It was so relaxing and enjoyable to chat and drink glasses of wine, cook, eat, chat, drink.
At the end we were given a little recipe book for the dishes we cooked, a certificate, a photograph and a final taste of their homemade limoncello.
Just a treat all way around and great value.

I booked this cooking class while in Sorento with my kids. We were picked up on time at our hotel and taken to this very cute restaurant. We met the chef who was so kind and sweet. We made fresh ravoli , caprse salad and eggpland parmesian , all this was topped off with a lemon cake we made and wonder wine and homemade lemonade. The best 3 hours. I recommend this for the entire family specially if you have kids heading to college and the need to learn how to cook.
