Overview

The Amalfi Coast is one of southern Italy’s most in-demand destinations, and on this full-day tour, you’ll enjoy an in-depth journey through the famously scenic region. Don’t worry about charting the narrow, hilly roads yourself: a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-coach will transport you directly from Sorrento to the villages of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, complete with hotel pickup and drop-off for added convenience.

What to Expect

The morning begins when your guide picks you up directly from your Sorrento accommodation. Traveling via a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-coach, you’ll trade the city streets for dramatic coastal roads.

Admire the ample scenery as you journey to your first destination: the village of Positano. Enjoy time at your leisure to wander past its famously vibrant buildings, take in the Mediterranean views, stroll on the beach, or visit the church of Santa Maria Assunta.

Next, you’ll climb aboard your mini-coach and continue to Amalfi. En route, enjoy additional sightseeing opportunities as you wend your way through the villages of Praiano, Furore and Conca dei Marini. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to discover the village on foot, admire its architecture, and grab a bite to eat (own expense).

After another ride in the mini-coach, your third and final stop for the day is the village of Ravello. Take in its sights at your own pace, from the 13th-century Villa Rufolo and its hilltop gardens to the sun-drenched Piazza Duomo.

Return to your mini-coach and head back to Sorrento: the tour ends when you’re dropped off directly at your accommodation.

We chose to use a small company called Sea & Land Experiences booked through an agent in St Agnello. Well worth it as we paid only 68 euros each, including a snack lunch of wrap over pizza and water, instead of Tui 118 euros (Tui...More

This was a great tour visiting beautiful towns along the Amalfi Coast. Topped off with a boat ride along the coast line. Brilliant day out.

Excellent!

Sophia, our guide, was very helpful in getting us to join the group at Positano instead of Sorrento, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to join the group. So, we joined them at Positano at 11.30am and then we went on a special Amalfi coastline...More
