Great way to explore the old town.
The tour is a great way to explore the Valencia Old Town. Our tour guide Paulino was friendly and knowledgeable. Starting at Torres de Serranos he took our small 6 person group through small alley ways and explained the important historical events and character of different buildings. We visited Parroquia de San Nicolas , La Lonna de la Seda( the silk exchange) and La Catedral ( Metropolitan Cathedral) . We also had short visit to the central market Mercado Central. All of them are on the top 10 Valencia highlights which gives this tour a great value.

      Spectacular sunset on the water.
My husband and I are spending a month in Valencia and heard about Albufera Natural park is on top 10 list. We know there are two bus lines go into the park however we decided sign up the tour that we can have more info on the area. We are very pleased that we did. Our tour is very small with four people so it’s very intimate. Our tour guide Manuel was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area , we learned about a lot of history and eco system and understanding the importance of the area to Valencia. The sunset boat ride on the lagoon was so peaceful with spectacular view. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area.

A wonderful historic perspective of Valencia
Marcela did a wonderful tour of some of the landmark historic sites in Valencia. She provided a great overview of the historic context of each of the sites we visited. She was engaging and enthusiastic about her city and her community.

      Beautiful sunset sail
Marvelous trip to the very beautiful lake, very relaxing after the day of exploring the city. Our guide Eva led us through a very pleasant forest walk, followed by a fantastic 1 hour sail. Eva was very nice and knowledgable guide, and we learned a lot about the natural park. !!Please carefully watch the trip notifications - when booking on the website it showed 3.30 pm starting time, and in confirmation message as well, but on the day of the trip a WhatsApp notice came that it starts at 3pm. The trip times change depending on the time of the year to catch the sunset.

Very friendly tour guides and good comms from tour company
Great day trip out to Morella and Peñíscola, very good comms from company and the tour guide was prompt, very friendly, knew his stuff and was a brilliant experience. Only small negative was the amount of free time in Morella for lunch so think if a slightly longer time was permitted there, even if it means a slightly longer day, I think that would be better as lunch was very rushed as free time also covered the castle. Definitely recommend the tour company. Also did a guided tour of Sagunto and that was also good.

      Not quite Art History/Architecture
Tour group was difficult to find as a few in the area and one we were on did not have any branding etc to identify it. The tour itself was slightly misleading. It was a general tour of Valencia, not specifically Art History/Architecture as was implied. So unfortunately for the price and expectation a bit underwhelming and disappointing. Places visited were impressive, and the tour guide did pick up with a little personality.

      Private walking tour of Valencia
Wojtek was our tour guide. It would have been good to receive a message from him before confirming the meeting place, introducing himself. Overall the experience was enjoyable. He knew a lot about Valencia's history although it was difficult to understand him at times. I did particularly enjoy going through the 'farmers market'.

Wonderful experience overall. The trip started promptly with the guide meeting us at the pick-up point and checking us in. The bus arrived shortly after with a second guide. Large bus, decent seats, and comfortable window views for all. The bus ride was about 45 minutes and the guides took turns explaining the areas we were going through with many interesting historical tidbits. We arrived at the Caves and had about 20 minutes to stretch our legs, get some coffee or snacks (if you didn't bring any), use the clean public bathrooms. Once inside, the initial walk through the caves is short and interesting as we reach the boat docks. The ferrymen as I call them, were bilingual and polite. Our particular tour group was large (55 or so) but the guides smoothly escorted us and had the boats ready to load about 10 per boat and we did not feel crowded at all. once we were seated. We boarded and took the amazing ride, seeing all kinds of natural formations, which lasted a little less than an hour. Our ferryman was knowledgeable and took the time to describe what we were seeing. We also had a very nice walk though the caves and ended up back at the starting point where our guide gave us another 20 minutes before boarding and returning to our pick up location.

Good points to note: You should not be claustrophobic if you choose this tour because the cave walk and boat ride is through tight caves and canals. You might consider other tours if you have back issues or walking issues because you will be walking low and crouching a lot. If you carry a backpack, it needs to be carried in front of you when you enter the caves (the guides will let you leave your backpack in the bus). Did not get wet so don't worry about wearing anything special and regular sneakers si fine. That being said, the inside of the caves are cool, like being in natural A/C. Overall a great tour.

From start to finish this was an excellent excursion, guide picked us up at pick up point on time, he spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable, on the drive to the caves he pointed out various landmarks and answered everyone’s questions in detail. On arrival at the caves we had a coffee and chat with others ion our tour (8people).
At 10am we entered the caves, we were the second boat out, it was very quiet, our boatman spoke some English and was very helpful, however you really do not need commentary, the visuals are just stunning.
Everything about the caves was done in style, NO gimmicks, just natural beauty with light.
If you get a chance do this tour with boat ride, we were lucky mid January is a quiet time, no big groups, I am sure timing is very important.

We had a great time on the cave tour excursion! I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Valencia to see something outside of the city. Relatively speaking this is a pretty quick tour. It’s a hour ride to the caves from Valencia (from Arts and Sciences), about 45-50 minutes for the tour itself, about 40 minutes of hang time in the city where the caves are then a hour back. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the city and the surrounding areas on the way to the caves, so better pay attention.

First of all, the lady in Spain you communicate with has terrible communication. Luckily, I had already downloaded the what’s app, otherwise, we probably wouldn’t have made our connection to get on the bus for the tour. 1. I received an email to meet at a certain location in Spain near a hotel. We got there, and there was no bus. I called the trip advisor number, and the lady acted mad, and said she had sent me a message and an email on the what’s app. Hmmm. I never received it. We had to pay for two cab rides to race across the city in order to make it to the Justice center to get on a bus that was 20 minutes late. It was very frustrating and a waste of my time and money. The tour inside the cave was ok, except the group left me. We didn’t even have time to eat lunch outside of the beautiful caves. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. I would like a refund for all of the extra cab fair that I had to pay because they can’t communicate.

Thank you Mary for taking the time to help us to improve. First of all, I would like to explain that, to facilitate communication, we contact each of our clients directly through WhatsApp, since it is the most used instant messaging application in the world. We understand that not all customers should use this app, even if it is the most widely accepted, so customers who do not have this app or do not receive our messages (because they do not use it) we use other ways to communicate, such as messages (SMS or emails) and calls. This is not your case, since you received and read our message more than 24 hours in advance, explaining the new meeting point and the travel conditions. We sincerely regret that you did not want to pay attention to our message and because of this you have suffered such a bad experience, of course if you had gone to the place at the time we said you would have been able to enjoy your visit much more. Regarding the messages from the application, which you mention, you did not write us anything, for that reason we have not answered you, since we do not consider it necessary to send the same information by so many channels (mail, WhatsApp, viator, telephone), but rather the important thing for us is that the customers understand the message. Once all this has been explained, you will understand that being late at the collection point or being in another place to which we have sent you is not our responsibility, and therefore, we cannot take charge of the refund. We hope you continue to enjoy your stay in Valencia. Regards.

We just finished doing the Tour of the San José Caves, with Ferran as our guide, and man, I better not want it. Ferran has shown us so many interesting things about the city of Valencia, the caves, and at the end of other Tours and places to eat, that we have been delighted. The tour and the caves were beautiful, everything was really very enjoyable. We have received answers to every question, and the views and spectacle are very beautiful. And I also mention Paco the driver. Excellent too.

The tour was very nice, the group was kind of big so if you don't do large crowds this is the wrong tour to go on. The bus was comfortable and the tour guides explained a lot of information about the arena and how the tour would go. The caves were beautiful and very cool to experience I would totally recommend checking this tour out.

We took an air conditioned coach bus to the cave site, about an hour from Valencia. Our guide Eva from the tour company Valencia and Go spoke in English and Spanish very clearly. She talked about the sites and cities as we drove by them.
At the caves, we got on a boat - but our English speaking tour guide did not come with us. The boat guide that we had only spoke Spanish and we were on the boat for almost an hour. That would be my only complaint about this trip. It would have been better if Eva came on the boat with us to speak in English but she did explain what we saw on the bus ride back to the city,
The caves were a very cool experience and would recommend it!

This is a great 1/2 activity to get out of the city. You take a 45 min boat ride through the underground river faces into the mountains. There is a little light and music show at the end of the ride that is a bit silly but if you want to try something completely different this is a great trip. The surrounding village area is Rey sweet, they have good coffee and the restaurant is of high quality. It’s also a good activity because you are back with most of your day to spare.

An unforgettable experience. Seeing these caves on a boat trip was for me a unique experience as the play of lights between the rocks the stalagmites and stalactites and the WOW water that shows 💕❤️ . I recommend this visit to everyone at least once in a lifetime. Our Anais Guide is very good and attentive to detail.
