Overview
Seville Cathedral features a fascinating history, but identifying its distinctive features and fully appreciating their significance can be difficult on a self-led tour. Forget the guidebook and instead learn illuminating insights from a guide. Find out more about the former mosque’s legacy while avoiding queues with skip-the-line entrance. Benefit from a small-group tour and enjoy personal interaction, and take in striking vistas from the viewing platform of the Giralda Tower.
What to Expect

Begin your tour in the Plaza del Triunfo. Meet your guide and make your way to the Seville Cathedral, with a brief tour of the building’s exterior before skipping the queue and heading inside. Listen as your guide describes the site’s extensive history, and admire the Gothic altarpiece, domed ceiling, and long nave, before visiting Christopher Columbus’ most recent resting place.

Next, ascend the Giralda Tower, a former minaret under Moorish rule, and notice other city landmarks from the bell tower’s viewing platform, as your guide shares further insights. Conclude your tour back on street level, and continue your exploration of the city with a new understanding of its history and cultural influences.

Beware - tickets and tower not included!

Lovely guide although English wasn’t quite good enough. It was disappointing that he cost of the trip didn’t include entrance to the cathedral (hidden in small print) and the guided tour didn’t include the Giralda tour. Hard to feel that it is wasn’t a bit...More

Poor English and weak storyline

We participated in this tour of the Cathedral. The guide was very friendly, but her English was not very good and they don't use microphones and earplugs, so it is very difficult to hear what is being said. The guide "jumped" from one topic to...More

Ask for Miguel

Apparently it was our guide (Miguel)’s first tour but you wouldn’t have guessed! Deep knowledge of the cathedral and the city as a whole. Interesting trivia for tourists. Ps: tickets are not included
