If you explore Seville’s Alcazar on your own, you’ll only scratch the surface of its fascinating history and architecture. On this guided tour of the UNESCO-listed palace, you’ll save time with fast-track entry and learn the full story behind its halls, chambers, and patios. A choice of times lets you plan around your schedule, and there’s an upgrade option to add a tour of Seville Cathedral.
What to Expect
Book your preferred tour option and after meeting your guide in central Seville, set off to explore the Alcazar and/or the cathedral (depending on your selected option).

At the Alcazar, bypass any ticket lines and enjoy an illuminating tour of the UNESCO-listed palace. Europe’s oldest functioning royal palace, it houses Spain’s royal family when they visit Seville.

Learn about the palace’s roots as an Arabic fort and discover how it was rebuilt several times by Castile’s kings, most notably with the addition of its magnificent Mudejar Pedro Palace in the 1300s. Explore the halls and patios as your guide explains their eclectic architectural styles and tells stories of its past residents.

Your tour finishes inside the complex. You’ll have time to explore the gardens independently, or if you’ve upgraded, continue to Seville Cathedral, another of the city’s UNESCO-listed showpieces.

Great tour!

We arrived for the 11:15 tour, although didn’t enter the Alcazar until 12:15. The tour was with Miguel, who was an excellent guide. A great historical overview of the palace - which is absolutely stunning! Well worth the wait to get in!

From the minute we arrived and couldn't find the orange umbrellas, which eventually turned out to be (late) purple ones, the tone was set. Surprise, surprise, no-one had paid for the actual entry to the Alcazar, only the tour ! Everyone else seemed as surprised...More
