Overview
Granada’s Alhambra limits its daily visitor numbers, so booking ahead is advisable. Plus, exploring the UNESCO-protected complex alone risks missing out on little-known gems and details. This tour gives you it all—a guide to explain the highlights; tours of the Nasrid Palaces and Generalife; priority entry to skip the ticket lines; plus headphones and a smaller-than-average group size so you hear and see more as you explore.
What to Expect
Book your selected time slot and travel independently to the Alhambra entrance. Then, meet your guide and head inside, bypassing the ticket lines.
Don the provided headphones and after an introduction, set off to explore. Listen as your guide charts the history of the UNESCO-listed complex, whose roots lie in the ninth century before its expansion into a full-blown Moorish palace during the 1400s and 1500s.
Hear about the Nasrid royal dynasty as your guide leads you through the Nasrid Palaces, pointing out the architectural finery and rich carvings of the chambers, patios, and corridors.
Stroll around the lush Generalife Gardens as you learn about their design and original function, and admire the sandstone Renaissance-era Carlos V Palace.
As you explore, feel free to ask any questions you wish, and when the time comes, say goodbye to your guide, bringing your tour to an end.

Yes it does and includes the entrance to the nasrid palace (my tour entrance was at 1pm). The tour is basically 3 hours and ends at the nasrid palace. From there you can go back to the generalife gardens or go back to any... More
