Overview

Germany’s vibrant capital, Berlin, is famous for its many cultural and historical attractions. See its highlights in one day by getting behind the wheel for this self-drive Trabi tour. You’ll avoid the crowds on public transportation, leaving navigation to your guide, and learn about various sights along the way. Also, you’ll discover why Trabi is one of Germany’s best-loved cars after your hands-on experience in one.

What to Expect
Start your self-drive Trabi tour by meeting your guide at a location that’s easy to access by public transportation and close to local sights. First, take some time to get acquainted with your colorful car and its functions (all Trabi cars have a manual gearbox).

Then head out, following your guide on a journey that covers many of Berlin’s top attractions such as Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, and Unten den Linden. Admire the architecture as you drive past Berlin Cathedral, Rotes Rathaus, Berlin TV Tower, East Side Gallery, and Checkpoint Charlie. Along the way, hear commentary from your guide. Your day ends with a special souvenir gift of a Trabant driver’s license.

Very fun and informative.

This is a fun way to get to know the city. The old Trabis are cool to drive. Our guide was a mix of a knowledgeable historian and comedian. Thumbs up, Trabi-World!

Arrived to drive the tour after reading trip advisor comments. Was looking forward to this the whole week. Couldn't book as did not know when we could get there. Got there for 12h00 and the sign showed 3 cars available. Waited 10 minutes. No one...More
